Enjoyable and enriching lessons in leadership!

As someone who enjoys American history and studies in leadership, I enjoyed this audiobook very much!

Read this if: you enjoy presidential memoirs and would like more details about specific presidents during their post-presidency. As someone who is familiar with most of these presidents, I still learned new things about all of them!

Do not read this if: you prefer a deep dive into one particular president.

Fantastic insight into life after POTUS

Even with a lifelong interest in presidential history, there was a lot to learn that I didn’t previously know. Also, fantastic narration.

Unknown stories about Presidents we thought we knew

Loved getting to learn about parts of presidents’ lives that are often ignored. The Adams and Hoover chapters really stood out to me.

I Don’t Like Donald Trump

Other than 15 minutes of obvious bias against Donald Trump, a good, balanced performance. Very good coverage of Hoover Carter and Bush.

When I was a kid the names of all the presidents were just something we had to memorize. LIFE AFTER POWER brings these past presidents alive with interesting facts you won’t see in a high school history book. I learned something new on every one of them. A take away is that they were all human with very human flaws. Loved the book.
