As the daughter of the emperor, Aisling Everhart was born into privilege. loved this so much
honestly, this book was fantastic and it had my favorite narrator Vanessa always does a great job. I cannot wait for book 2. I am so invested in this universe in world.

Good but —
The story was overall pretty interesting to listen to. I love the narrator she did an amazing job. The only thing that threw me off was the fact the Kohen can see the future? I felt like that spoiled the book a little bit for me, leaving little room for the imagination and theories It’s an interesting ability but I felt like it should have been more hush hush and not “this is gunna happen”
