Lesson Seven: Pay attention to this one - it’s the most important of them all. Don’t fall for your one-night stand.

enjoyable story

This is an enjoyable story. The characters are well rounded and a good balance of sexual and non sexual moments

Light hearted, sweet and sexy

Heard the first chapter on the story bites podcast. Fun story of 2 nice people who fall in love in a small Alaskan town where everyone know everyone’s business. Fans of Jill shalvis will enjoy.

Cute rom com!!!

I enjoyed this sweet, no angst and funny story. Good story about a family of 7 siblings that lost their parents early on and the trials and tribulations they are experiencing growing up and the impact of losing their parents. This was Austin's story and I thought it was well written and narrated. Looking forward to the next siblings story.
This was my first listen of Tim Paige as a narrator and I will listen to him again. Tanya is a seasoned narrator and she knows what shes doing!!

Omit the f-bomb

The only reason I couldn’t give the book 5 stars, the f-bomb, too many times. My goodness u don’t have to curse like a sailor to have a good book. Seriously!

Great

I just love this whole story. The characters and the location were so enjoyable. I can't wait to see what develops in the next book with the Bailey's. The narration only added to the enjoyment.

Headlines

A family that can't stay out of a small town Gossip blog learn a lot about each other... Maybe more than they bargained for sometimes. This is a great story about lust turned to love at 1st sight.

Loved it

Straight off the bat, I want to know if there are any employment opportunities in Lake Starlight, Alaska as I am ready to pack my bags and go.
Having read a couple of other books by Piper Rayne I immediately one clicked this little gem as soon as it released. I absolutely fell hard and fast for Austin and the entire Bailey clan. What a fabulous family they are and I wouldn’t mind being a part of it to be honest.
Austin is the head of the family, he gave up his dreams to coach College Baseball after the sudden death of his parents 9 years ago and came home to raise his siblings. What an honourable man he is, totally swoon worthy.
Of course he is a man with needs and he has a hot and sizzling one night stand. Only issue is the woman he has it with Holly, turns out to be the new relieving principal at the high school where he teaches.
Complications arise as their attraction continues to grow. Can they hide their involvement and keep it under the radar? Both Austin and Holly plan to leave Lake Starlight for greener pastures at the end of the school year. Can they keep it casual or will their hearts become entangled and heartbreak ensure?
Piper Rayne is off to a flying start in this new series if Lessons From a One Night Stand is anything to go by.
There is nothing that I did not love about this book. If you haven’t yet had the pleasure of reading this dynamic due, then do yourself a favour and check them out.

Lessons from a One-Night Stand The Baileys, Book 1

Lessons From a One Night Stand is the first book in The Bailey’s Series and the first book that I have read by these dynamic duo authors or at least listened to since this was an audible book.

Principle Holly Radcliff has already met her one night stand and she did it in the back of a Jeep. Coach Austin Bailey needs to learn the 7 lessons that were in the blurb. They didn’t even know the others name.

Holly is from FL and now with a temporary new job as a principle in Lake Starlight, Alaska.

Austin had to leave a career in Baseball to come home and help with all his siblings after the tragic death of their parents. He is working as a Coach at the High School where Holly is the acting Principal. There are quite a few Baileys’

There are nine Baileys and they are Austin, Savannah, Brooklyn, Rome & Denver (twins), Juno, Kingston, Phoenix and Sedona (twins). I am looking forward to getting to know all these Baileys.

I think that Piper and Rayne met their goal in bringing a heartwarming romance with humor and a side of sizzle! I enjoyed reading Lessons From a One Night Stand and I am looking forward to Advice from a Jilted Bride.

As I said earlier that this was an audible book linked with Whispersync. I like to be able to read if I need to. Sometimes if it is a complicated storyline it's great to be able to go back and actually read a passage. That was not the case with this book. I still like to view the book at the same time.

I also like when the author uses more than 1 narrator. Especially for male and female roles to have a male and female narrator. And, I especially enjoyed Tanya Eby and Tim Paige.

narrators are my rockstars

I went in for the narrators. bouth Tanya and Tim are favorits of mine.
But fell in love with the book. first book by this auther. not the last. really well written.

Steamy and Heartwarming

I loved this book by Piper Rayne and narrators Tanya Eby and Tim Paige did a great job bringing this story and the characters to life. I’m really looking forward to listening to the other books in this series as I know I will get wonderful performances by these two narrators.
