A Useful Tool for Proficiency

This book is a valuable tool for learning the Gujarati language for beginners. The method will create memory paths which is the starting point for learning the language essentials. You also utilize muscle memory physically that involves your mouth and tongue. The various areas of learning include counting basic numbers from one to twenty, naming many common food items such as fruits and vegetables, and emotions, colors, and words associated with school and days of the week. You will have a foundation to then more easily learn grammar and structure of sentences. There is a download PDF to assist as well. As you become fluid with vocabulary through repetition and memorization you will be on track to understand and be understood in fuller sentences. Your proficiencies will allow you to further learn grammar, verbs and more clearly communicating with native speakers. Use this recurringly to benefit as it’s designed.

Beginner friendly

Sometimes books say they are for beginners but end up being WAY too advanced. This book however is very beginner friendly and I found it helpful and easy to listen to.

A top language

I love languages and this one didn’t disappoint. The included pdf was a great help to follow and see the writing for each word. The author advised that Gujarati is in the top 30 languages spoken. Amazing.

This book about learning Gujarati has been an excellent learning experience. The book taught me nearly 500 of the most commonly used vocabulary words in the Gujarati language, which has helped me to start speaking conversationally in a short period.
One of the best things about the book is that it comes with a free PDF written vocabulary list, which has been incredibly helpful in enhancing my comprehension of the language. As a visual learner, this has been an incredible support to me, and I'm sure it will be to others as well.

Good book for learning vocabulary but

The accompanying pdf is less helpful since you have to be able to decifer the gujrati characters in order to read the gujrati words It would be mire helpful if it also provided the phonetic word with english characters as a third column

Definitely what I needed as a beginner!

My husband and I travel extensively and work in IT, the sciences, and healthcare. In recent years, we've made an attempt to learn several languages...at least in a fundamental way. Gujarati vocab will definitely set us apart as we work and travel and build connections with new people. Even the basics for beginners can go a long way! Definitely recommend.

Perfect for Travel

Traveling around the world is a passion of mine. I love to visit new places. But I don’t love showing up as the ignorant American who only speaks English. Anytime I travel somewhere new where a different language is spoken I try to learn a little bit of the language. Though I’m definitely not fluent in Gujarati, this book is helping me learn the perfect amount of vocabulary to be able to get out around and have a little bit of conversation with people I come into contact with. I believe the people I meet and speak with will appreciate that I took the time to try and learn their mother tongue.
