About this listen
This bold, wide-ranging collection brings together some of the most noted military minds, past and present, to examine the crucial role of leadership in combat. Written while Christopher Kolenda was a faculty member in the history department at West Point, it covers both classic and modern concepts of leadership and uses case studies from Alexander the Great through World War II to illustrate principles of leadership in concrete historical contexts.

Riveting textbook analysis
I started this compilation and thought it would be a informative but dry listen. Instead it was quite enjoyable while being very educational. I recommend this to managers in all businesses because the leadership lessons apply universally.

Leadership - The Warrior's Art - Essay Collection
Story: As collection of essays, naturally, the book will vary tone and texture. In a way, it is much different than most books of leadership since you are getting input in discrete bundles from a variety of authors. I recommend this book.
Reader: Very good.
Production: Very good.
