Las guerras púnicas (264 a. C. - 146 d. C.) fueron una serie de guerras entre los ejércitos de las ciudades antiguas de Cartago y Roma. Años antes del estallido de las batallas, Cartago pasó de ser una pequeña comunidad portuaria a una de las ciudades más ricas y poderosas de la región mediterránea.
