Can evil truly be vanquished? Is there such a thing as a happy ending, or are we merely blinded by a temporary feeling of peace?
Six months of peace have befallen Omeria, since Max Starheart and his companions came back from their last adventure. However now a darker presence begins to stir once again over the lands, after several Kavlosian soldiers are sent to investigate local disturbances, only to mysteriously vanish.
Return once more, to a world where magic meets incredible technological feats. Ancient mages, bounty hunters and military soldiers must all find a way to work together and combat a growing threat from below. A good book ending with a cliffhanger
The second part of a tale of the ages reads like a train. This time the world is threatened by a monster. It is not an easy task and only with united forces will the mission succeed to defeat it. Some unexpected characters repent and join the fight. But there are also victims ... The book ends with a cliffhanger.

Max to the rescue
Second part of A Tale of the Ages takes us deep into the crevice between the spirit world and the real world which is where the manifestation of Evil itself chooses to reside and feed on passed souls, growing stronger and waiting, waiting for the right moment to emerge once more... Among the tricks and mirage, our heroes find one powerful sorcerer thought to have perished decades ago, however instead of being dead, he has been held captive. Some souls have already been lost here. But can this one be saved? Can our heroes even save themselves? Adrenalin rushes through their veins as the Evil closes in on them.... * I loved the narration, the narrator truly gives it his all. * Definitely recommended!
