Wow!!!

Wow, again wow. I am a fan of Robert Thornhill and it is no surprise that I thought this was a good book as I have liked everyone I have listened to. But this time the book not only was a great read but I was living some of the story at the same time as listening to it. My husband had kidney stones and then kidney surgery spending almost a week in the hospital. Here I am listening to this very book not knowing when I started it what the story line was going to be.
Very well written and very real. I LOVED when fictional Walt meets the author so fun and wow!
George Kuch once again does a great job with the narration. He is truly the voice of Walt.
Thank you Robert for giving me the chance to escape my life for a few hours. If you have never read or listened to Lady Justice series you really must.

Glad Walt is still alive

Pretty good book. I love the characters and insight that Walt gets. I also like he is a PI now. but not my favorite book. Still definitely worth a listen.

Robert Thornhill is above all other authors. he has done something fresh, new, intelligent and amazing with his books. Great mysteries and great characters. You will thoroughly enjoy this series!! And George Kuch is a exact match for narrating the whole series, he brings the characters from the pages to life..

Lady Justice And The Broken Hearts

Poor Walt just can’t stay out of trouble no matter how hard he tries. While recovering from heart surgery he find another mystery that needs to be solved and with the help of his crew, he goes above and beyond to solve it. As always I loved this book and can’t wait for more.

The retirees do it again!

mystery, humor, law-enforcement, private-investigators, suspense-------
The murder investigation and also the discovery of a terrorist plot are interwoven with the experience of cardiac hospitalization by our number one retiree. As a retired RN, and also a member of the zipper club I was very pleased with the characters reactions, but disturbed by the repetitive remarks about poor hospital security. I particularly enjoyed the way that the gang one upped the feds in the plot by the terrorists. Good suspense in a story packed with humor!
As always, George Kuch was super as narrator!

Another great read

Lady Justice and the Broken Hearts is my twentieth enjoyable read/listen from author Robert Thornhill. Another entertaining clean read, filled with puns & one-liners, as always dealing with current social topics. Each book in the series seems better than the last as Thornhill continues to up his game. Narrator George Kuch again adds greatly to the listening enjoyment with his wide variety of entertaining voices & inflections, Kuch IS Walt Williams! I’ll definitely be reading more from Thornhill! I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. Since I own both the Audible & Kindle versions I was able to follow along while being read to. Up next is Lady Justice and the Conspiracy. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Heart wrenching

I absolutely love these books as covers controversy issues with humor. I love the characters of Walt and his family (forever growing) and his extended family/friends. Author must have spent time in ICU as the procedures describe and how patients really feel. This book Walt has multiple surgeries and helps solve murders of people awaiting transplant. It was heart and gut wrenching especially when the 12 yr. old died but still had humor in the book. Keep them coming! Great narration as usual. I was given this audiobook by author and have voluntarily left this review. THANK YOU!!!!

Book inception!

Book inception! Robert Thornhill (the author) actually appears as a character in this book as himself! It was so much fun!

In this adventure Walt lands himself in the hospital for a few procedures/surgeries. As someone who is invested in the characters I loved a more personal story about Walt and his internal monologue about what he’s going through. From there the adventures begin with mysterious deaths in the hospital that leads to so much more! As usual there are otherwise “heavy” topics being discussed in a way that is both thought provoking & lighthearted. I love how this series can make me think while also weaving a mystery & adventure all in one.

Lady Justice and the Broken Hearts

Lady Justice audio book series, Lady Justice and the Broken Hearts.
:Robert Thornhill

Walt Williams, now twice retired; first as a real estate agent then as a cop runs a P.I. office with his brother-in-law Kevin. They are hired to find missing "escorts." A health scare sends him into the hospital and several mysteries to solve. The old gang including Maggie, Jerry, Mary, Willy, John, Bernice and the Professor have returned to help. Walt's half siblings make appearances as well. The author even makes a cameo in this book.

The wit and humor mixed with the seriousness of health and current events make or an interesting listen.

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. George Kuch IS the voice of Walt Williams!!! Very enjoyable!!!

Changing the series

I am voluntarily writing this review in exchange for a free copy. I have loved this series since book 1. Now that Walt is a PI and the series is changing it’s a little harder for me because there are too many story lines happening. I’ve never been one to watch movies with multiple story lines and I prefer my books the same way. The actual story line for this book didn’t occur till further to the end. It was a little disappointing. I really loved how Walt actually meets the Author Robert Thornhill in this book. It was pretty impressive how they put their minds together to get the terroist case solved. I’m not much on books, movies, or shows that encases terrorism. I still love the characters in these stories but I really missed the active presence of Ox, Walt’s ex police partner. I thought he’d still have a bigger role since they are still great and close friends.
