Lucas knows the perfect night entails just three things: video games, wine, and pad thai. Peanuts are a must! Other people? Not so much. Why complicate things when he’s happy alone? Then one day the apartment board, a vexing trio of authority, rings his doorbell. And Lucas’s solitude takes a startling hike. They demand to see his frying pan. Someone left one next to the recycling room overnight, and instead of removing the errant object, as Lucas suggests, they insist on finding the guilty party. But their plan backfires. Colossally.

Un livre qui vous fera voir la beauté de ce que vous avez
Très belle interprétation, un texte d'une grande sensibilité et clairvoyance. J'ai aimé sentir toute la richesse de l'amour, et de ce qu'on a. Des petites choses qui nous font.
De l'émerveillement.
C'est un écrivain qui nous accompagne, et l'on se sent moins seul face à la douleur, on voit la joie qui nous reste.
Merci aussi pour l'excellente surprise des entretiens de Grégoire Delacourt sur son écriture.

Gros coup de coeur
Tout est bien ficelé dans ce roman, de la plume à la narration. Le style est agréable et travaillé sans le paraître. J'étais totalement prise dans l'histoire et ai vraiment pu me mettre à la place de Jocelyne. L'interview de l'auteur à la fin était très intéressante aussi, il parle de son processus d'écriture et de son autre métier. C'était mon premier livre de Delacourt, mais ça ne va pas être le dernier!
