Good religious periodic story. Interesting seeing the portrayal of 1200’s-1300’s from the 1920’s perspective.

I first read “Kristen” in high school 75 years ago. Listening to this beautiful performance now has given me enormous pleasure.

Great narration- depicting the times as I envision- never a dull moment but a little cheesy in place- overall a great experience

A lovely tale of a Norwegian girl growing up and her life struggles. This new translation is very good. An excellent snapshot of what life was like in 1400’s Norway.

Beware of the Introduction skip over it

This is an excellent book but do not listen to the introduction. It basically told the entire plot and ruined the story for me. After you finish the book then listen to the introduction.

The narrator was excellent! The best I’ve heard!

I loved the writing., but it really came alive because the narrator - the reader knew each character so well, and did a fantastic job of reading. I’m blown away by this audiobook! Highly recommend!
