About this listen

It’s heating up in the kitchen . . . These four best friends and chefs might know how to cook, but romance is a much tougher recipe.

Featuring all four books in the Kitchen Gods series and over 35,000 words of additional bonus scenes and content.

Bite Me Pastry Chef Miles can’t wait to turn his dessert videos into something special, except that his producer Evan annoyingly insists they do everything his way. With every confrontation, the intensity between flares even hotter until they’re not sure if it’s hatred they feel or something much hotter.

Catch Me – When Wyatt becomes a private chef for Ryan Flores, the first “out” professional baseball player, he thinks it’ll be the easiest job ever. Except that Ryan has more than just cooking in mind—he needs a fake boyfriend, and Wyatt is the perfect combination of salty and sweet.

Savor Me – Damon Hess doesn’t just want more out of his life, he demands it. He’s hellbent on starting his new restaurant, and Xander, elusive man who saved him a year ago is not only the chef he wants to head his kitchen, but maybe the man he needs to guide him on his sexual awakening.

Indulge Me – Chef Bastian Aquino is a notorious control freak. He makes the first and the last decisions at his restaurant, Terroir. Kian is his new intern and the chef he’s going to guide to an insanely successful career. Except Kian knows that their relationship could be so much more than just work; they could be the perfect pairing if only Bastian could see it.

Very Enjoyable!

Kitchen Gods: The Complete Series is four fabulous books all in one place. This is a wonderfully written series that is totally binge worthy. I really enjoyed each book but especially books 3 and 4. I enjoyed watching these amazing chefs find their place and HEA. Definitely recommend!

Pastry chef Miles and his producer Evan with their explosive connection. Chef Wyatt and Ryan, his employer baseball player. These two were a bit oblivious. Chef Xander and Damon, who inherited land from his grandfather and decided to grow vegetables instead of grapes. I loved the idea of Damon wanting to have a farm to table restaurant. Chef Kian and Chef Bastian Aquino are quite the pair. Seeing their interactions in the previous books just made thier book that much sweeter. I loved Kian's determination not to give up.

Narrator Wyatt Baker does an amazing job in bringing this series to life. He continues to be a treat to listen to.

Absolutely love every single one of these couples!

What a way to end a series than with a “five star realization” listen! Though each previous story had their own unique twist, Bastian and Kian brought the tears! Their uphill battle against all odds, fighting their way through every obstacle until the end, and witnessing Bastian grow with Kian never giving up, has to be the sweetest love story known to mankind.

Wyatt brings the house down with his performance of Bastian and Kian! Capturing their personalities, their emotions and their love for each other, not to mention that especially hot and steamy smedisode 🥵, I think I’m still tingly from their performance. And, to nail each one of the cameos was absolute insanity, but, as I previously stated, Wyatt brought down the entire house!

Good Collection

I enjoyed reading each one these stories separately and having them all together in this one collection is even better. Listening to the great narration from Wyatt Baker made it even more enjoyable.

I received an ARC and this is my unbiased opinion

Narrator is the WORST

I can’t make it through the series because he’s so awful. The story line seems fun and good but the narration is appalling

Deliciously sweet

So glad that I read this 4-book series about lovable hot heads filled with big egos and amazing food and such love and care from start to finish. Wonderfully read (although I had to speed the audio up a little as it seems it is set at a slower reading speed) and great through character arches for all of the characters over all four books - it said they can be standalone books but I could imagine missing out on any of the story by doing that.

Wonderful work

This was so good. It was a wonderful and enjoyable listen. My favorite was Bite me with Miles and Evan. But the whole set was a exceptional experience. The narrator was spot on.

Terrible narration, reasonably enjoyable series progression.

First off, I’d warn anyone off this series solely on the quality of the narrator. The voice would be fine if he didn’t deliver the entire series - and I mean the ENTIRE text — in a kind of bad anchorman-delivering-the-news tone and volume. It’s almost as if he’s shouting or super-emphasizing every last word. Drove me crazy!

The saving grace is that the stories are pretty cute with an interesting progression through the roommates. Some characters are annoying, but that’s to be expected, and we do see character growth throughout the series.

If the publisher got a new (better) narrator and re-released, this would be worth the credit. As it is, it is not.

Fantastic Series!

I read this series when they first came out, and I really enjoyed them. I was excited to see these available as a complete collection and dove right in! 35 hours later, Wyatt Baker had me loving the stories just as much the second time around. Wyatt did a fantastic job bringing each character to life and it was a great joy to revisit everyone. Now for those stories...

Bite Me was our first story, and I've only grown to love enemies to lovers more each year. Clashing from first sight, Miles and Evan had a bumpy road to finding not only their co-existence is a working relationship, but also their HEA. Both were so strong-willed neither wanted to concede an inch on where they thought the direction of their work should go. It was a constant power struggle between them, which made the sparks fly. Their sexual tension was just as strong as their will. If you like strong willed men, delicious sounding desserts, and snarky chefs this is the read for you!

Catch Me was our second story featuring Ryan and Wyatt, and highlighting their story were two of my favorite tropes. Fake boyfriend and athletes are always on the top of my reading list and I loved that their story combined the two. I loved the insecurities they each brought to their arrangement, and watching their walls crumble as they fell for each other was wonderful. Wyatt’s love for his Nana, and Ryan’s closeness with his Aunt Flor really showed the compassion that each of them brought to their relationship. That epilogue truly gave me all the feels and left me a bit misty eyed.

Savor Me brought us Xander and Damon’s story, and it truly gave me ALL the feels. I admit I got pretty teary eyed at parts, along with the “oh no” stomach drop. These last couple books I’ve been intrigued by the snarling Xander and we get to know his story and why he holds himself back and is so snarky. I loved the chemistry between Xander and Damon, who was just beginning to explore his long-known bi-sexuality.

Indulge Me is the final book with Kian and Chef Aquino’s HEA, and it was everything I hoped it would be! I’ve been intrigued with Kian and Bastian’s story from the beginning. There was so much struggle between Kian and Bastian and making their relationship work. So many moving parts between their professional relationship and a potential personal one. Once you thought they were making headway in their relationship, their strong personalities got in their way. I honestly couldn’t see how their personal relationship was going to survive their professional one. I was kept on my toes trying to see how their HEA was going to happen. This was a great story to end a fantastic series. I could recommend this book, or the series more!
