A wonderful collection perfect for the Halloween season
From ghosts and haunted places to child abduction and sinister scarecrows there’s plenty to enjoy
Excellent cast of narrators and written in a way it will appeal to a large age group highly recommended

Something for everyone

I really enjoyed this book. Even the stories that were not my type I listen to and liked. I cannot say which story I like The horror stories this is Spence and the stories about life. The really is almost something for everyone. This is a great addition to having your Audible library it is a book you can listen to more than once.

Entertaining stories for both young and old

Though this collection of short stories was not what I was expecting, it was nevertheless an interesting read. The stories in this collection are basically ghost/scary stories. They are the kind of stories told around campfires, not super scary, but they may send a chill down your spine. I found many of them to be quite well-written and entertaining with an edge of the seat anticipation. My only complaint is I felt, as a whole, it ran a bit long. I had to take a number of breaks from it in the course of reading it.

I listened to the audio version, with numerous narrators, which really brought the stories to life.

A mix of Twilight Zone/Black Mirror wonderfulness!

Every single one of these fantastic stories will make your day. Some of them are connected. Some of them live on their own incredibleness. All of them are what good stories are made of. The characters, the settings, the emotions, everything...hit. Everything was special. Everything left me wanting more! The variety of narrators just amped up the special.

Just ok

There were a few good stories but most felt unfinished. Narration was good. I received a review copy and voluntarily reviewed.

Perfect for this month, spooky and wonderful!

THIS BOOK IS AWESOME! For any age (although there's some violence, but a gotchcha for the right person in the first story especially), you will love it! The book is voiced by different narrators for each story, and they fit very well for each one. An utterly enjoyable listen and I will be back for a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th spin on this one!

Note: I was given this audiobook for my honest review, and this is it. A+, I highly recommend!

Good set of short stories

I loved the mix of story types, and settings. The stories were mostly good, but a few meh as in any mix of short stories. Some really worked well as short stories, but some really felt more like general ideas for something more in depth. Overall happy aith collection, and would recommend.

An interesting collection of short stories. They range from eerie to heart felt. All dealing with some kind of terror or ghost. Each story is well written and many are open ended. Some are meant to scare while others are entertaining and you might even find one pulling on your heart. I found this collection engaging and interesting. It has a spooky and creepy feel to most of the stories but it is not too scary or full of horror. I enjoyed the worlds and characters that the author has created. The narrators did a nice job of giving life to these stories and I was quickly lost in them.
