Great Narration & Story

The author did a great job narrating and writing this story! Definitely recommend! Great job!

This is Just the Beginning

This brilliant story had me feeling several emotions from joy and laughter, sadness, sorrow, anger and hopeful. Not only did the author write this book, he preformed his own audiobook with distinct voices. This was done well so that you know who was talking before the narrator shared with the readers.

The story is captivating in which the author had you anticipating the next section before you completed what you were currently listening to. There is magic, sorcery, adventure, fighting..everything that makes up a fantasy.

The brilliance of this manuscript is the tie ins of science fiction along with anime and LOTR.

Check this out today; it won’t disappoint.

I loved the time travel

I have newly dipped my toes into more fantasy lately I am really enjoyed this one!
It made me laugh, happy, and sad all in one.
There is a destiny to fulfill but the question is it possible to achieve? There is war and there are events that chance everything and even some time travel to the future. There is a lot at stake and a lot to learn where that comes from.

Great, second edition with great voice acting

I listen to the first edition, and I thought it was good. The second edition, however, is great. In terms of the story this is vibrant world that blends fantasy with Science Fiction and one might even go as far as to say it’s a modern fantasy, but all in all I find the changes to be excellent expansions Within a warm, fuzzy world, I hold, dear to my heart. I say warm and fuzzy because this was my first Indy fantasy that I ever read. Nathan Helm’s voice acting is reminiscing of Star Wars and anime, and this is the kind of universe that perfectly fits the lit anime genre. We dip our toes into the darkness of the authors writing in the first installment and I can’t wait to see where it goes in the second and third.

Still a lighter natured anime lit

While the story does keep to a simple delivery, I do believe it will easily find its mark in fans of stories like Seven Deadly Sins, or Enchanted Arms.
The author/narrator does apply himself fully, and that is always a great sign.
I am only knocking one star and shortening my review slightly from what I posted for the ebook on Amazon, because this is the third or 4th time I’ve reviewed this book, and the book should settle into this form, now.

The narration was top notch.

This is a fun, fast paced, dramatic take with honorable characters and evil villains. Go cheer for the good guys! I loved it.

The voice acting

The story is great and you can tell the author loves his craft and loves his story.

The voice recording has also come a long way from the first edition.

All around glad I listened to the second!

Amazing Narration and Story

This was such an amazing story. I was hooked from the beginning. I grew to adore many of the characters. I loved the "time travel" aspect of it and how the modern world was tied into a story that starts so many years before. It made me laugh, it made me sad, and it made me mad. There were actual tears coming out of my eyes.

The author did an amazing job narrating this story. Each character had a unique voice and personality. He was able to switch from one character to another flawlessly. I have always struggled with being able to listen to audiobooks because my mind gets distracted and I don't hear parts of the story and I then have to go back and listen again. He was able to keep me entertained and I was able to listen without "spacing out" or getting distracted. His emotions were spot on with what was going on. If there was crying, it really sounded like he was crying which then made me cry. You can tell that he put in a lot of time and effort and that it's from the heart.

In conclusion, READ/LISTEN TO THE BOOK! You will not be disappointed.

A fun ride

I really enjoyed this book. It is fast paced and the narrator (the author) does a great job bringing his characters to life. I encourage any fantasy and non fantasy listener to give this audiobook a listen. I look forward to more books by Helm.
