Patrick is an agent with a very special team of agents. He wants to help Kate prove she is innocent, but as each new piece of evidence is revealed, that goal seems harder. He wonders why he feels so compelled to help her and so sure she is innocent despite the evidence. Will he be willing to put his job on the line to help her? Can he trust in God to make sure the truth will come out in the end?

Suspenseful FBI mystery with faith & friendship

Would you listen to Kate's Innocence again? Why?

Probably not, just because I don't usually listen to audiobooks more than once, but I did enjoy it enough that who knows -- I might listen to it again. I enjoyed the feeling it gave me that it was like I was listening to a TV show. :)

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character was Patrick. I loved his faith, his courage, his kindness, and his determination to follow his convictions on what he believed to be true, even when things looked darkest. He was just a great character. :)

What does Sheri Sheridan bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Sheri Sheridan's different voices for the characters and the way she conveyed the emotions and action so well gave it an excellent additional level of immersion. It really pulled me into the story and I felt like I was right there.

If you could take any character from Kate's Innocence out to dinner, who would it be and why?

I'd take Patrick. I think he'd be very interesting to talk to. :)

Any additional comments?

This was my first Audible audiobook experience, and it was a great one! I really enjoyed the story of Kate's Innocence, the characters, the faith aspect, the fun banter, and the suspense of the mystery. The narration was top-notch and very enjoyable.

Enjoyable

I really got into this story as I kept listening. I wasn't sure as it started but soon I could not stop listening wanting to see how things would turn out for Kate.

Fun, Simple. Complex.

This story had some interesting twists, and funny quirks. Overall, it encouraged my faith, had me laughing more than once, and had a very good narrator.

Brought This Fast-Paced Story to Life

Where does Kate's Innocence rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I haven't listened to many audiobooks before (none on Audible), but somewhere in the upper middle.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Kate, because she was an intriguing mixture of strength and vulnerability. I also identified with a few of her characteristics.

What about Sheri Sheridan’s performance did you like?

Her voice was perfect for the story. She did a good job of differentiating between each character.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Easy listening, engaging, makes me want more! :)

Great start to the series

I enjoyed this inspirational suspenseful story. It was a refreshing change to listen to a suspenseful story that was clean, and still an engaging book. I’m excited to listen to book two!

Enjoyed!

Since I also love "Sue Thomas F.B.Eye" this was a delightful book to read. Even if I did have the right suspect picked from the beginning, all the twists and turns kept me reading until the end. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

The reader seemed a bit fast at times, but that could partly be due to the story line. I did enjoy listening to this story and plan to listen to the rest of the series.

Excellent

Interesting plot, of the odds seems to continually stack against her. FBI agent Patrick believes in her, and he even seems powerless to find clues. Will they finally get the evidence to prove that Kate was innocent. Good reading and series. Given audio for my voluntary review and my honest opinion
