Acerca de esta escucha
During the late 1960s and early 1970s, when he was subject to nonstop surveillance and harassment from both human and supernatural spooks, intrepid Fortean investigator John A. Keel made extensive field notes concerning the phenomena he was confronting in West Virginia and New York: UFOs, Men in Black, creature entities, ultraterrestrials, and odd coincidences and synchronicities. The result was a series of concise, thematically related reports, many of which were incorporated into magazine articles for Saga, Fate, Flying Saucer Review, and Flying Saucers magazine.
In those articles, Keel unraveled threads discussed in his classic books Operation Trojan Horse, The Mothman Prophecies, and The Eighth Tower, which were written soon after. Utilizing occult lore, recent scientific research, and direct personal investigation, Keel drew back the curtain on the mind-blowing nature of our terrestrial reality.
In this volume, we look at Keel's favorite articles from Flying Saucers magazine, which was published and edited largely by Ray Palmer. Keel went on record as saying that he thought Palmer was the "father of ufology", and he helped Palmer by submitting many articles to the magazine, and even helping with editing chores whenever possible.
This special Keel-curated edition features interesting articles by Keel, Palmer, Brad Steiger, Gray Barker, Brent Raynes, Peter Guttilla, William Cullen, Larry Bryant, Alois Knapp, Tom Lingham, Jennifer Stevens, Erich Aggen, Jr., Dennis Stamey, Alberto Perego, T. Scott Crain, and Hans Lauritzen.

In Dimensions, Dr. Jacques Vallee reexamines the historical record that led to the modern UFO phenomenon and to the belief in alien contact. He then tackles the enigma of abduction reports, which come from various times and various countries, as well as the psychic and spiritual components of the contact experience. In the last portion of the book, he notes the factors that inhibit research into the phenomenon - the triple coverup and political motivations - and concludes that the extraterrestrial theory is simply not strange enough to explain the facts.

Operating out of a secluded office deep in the hills of his home state of West Virginia, the prolific Barker single-handedly kept public interest focused on UFOs during it leanest years, and introduced many themes still discussed and investigated by today’s paranormal and conspiracy researchers:the “interdimensional” theory of UFOs; the shapeshifting nature of creature entities such as Mothman, the Flatwoods Monster, and Bigfoot; the cryptic terror of the Men in Black; and the mystery of the Philadelphia Experiment.

Many of the articles in The Book of Mothman were written years before Keel’s Mothman Prophecies, while others were written years afterwards, making it a very unique and valuable source. With the addition of several 1990s lectures and an interview from 2003 - Keel’s last on Mothman - researchers and enthusiasts gain a better sense of just what was going on in West Virginia and the Ohio Valley in the 1960s and ‘70s.

In 1973, a virtual epidemic of flying saucer sightings occurred. What was most disturbing was that they seemed to be different from earlier sightings. For instance, there was an increasing incidence of physical injury, dangerous interference, and outright abduction of observers by mysterious beings associated with the phenomena.

In this revised and expanded edition of Richard Dolan's previous classic on the UFO subject, he brings the listener through the tumultuous journey of the UFO/UAP subject through the early 2020s. This includes a detailed treatment of the changes to our public discussion of UFOs since 2017 and what is the likely end point of this new direction. But Dolan provides much more than this, including providing critical context of the UFO subject within the broader social, political, and technological developments of our world, something that makes him unique among UFO researchers.

Historia
Flying Saucer to the Center of Your Mind is a collection of magazine articles and lectures by the man many consider to be not only the 20th century’s premiere investigator of all things unusual and “Fortean,” but also our very own 20th-century “Mark Twain”: John A. Keel. Many of the articles in this anthology and its companion volumes, "The Outer Limits of the Twilight Zone" and "Searching for the String," were revolutionary, and explored ideas popularized in Keel’s classic books.

What is the nature of unidentified aerial phenomena? Forty years ago a small cadre of dedicated researchers began actively investigating cases, interviewing witnesses, and exchanging data through a small, informal network of international contacts. Today this low-profile network, or "invisible college", has grown into a larger, multination volunteer research effort joined by many individuals. But the questions first raised 40 years ago remain current - and unanswered.

Communion is the iconic classic in which Whitley Strieber describes his 1985 close encounter experiences. This book, which fundamentally changed the way we understand close encounters and alien abductions, is presented here with a new introduction by the author. Do not miss this great classic and the powerful introduction that explores the situation as it stands today—even more provocative and important now, as official sources are admitting that UFOs are real unknowns and that they seem to have something to do with close encounters.

For die-hard Keel fans only
Definitely among Keel's driest works, this book nonetheless gives insights into the author's early thinking on UFO topics as well as his responses to various UFO events and controversies. The narrator has a strange, halting delivery that makes for a very bumpy ride. I doubt that Keel’s original manuscript used the word “Supposably” but I heard it here at least twice.

Keel's Perspicacity Shines
Great narration, incredible content. Keel was a great American polymath and speculator of mysterious regions where angels fear to tread. He was the Van Helsing to the Dracula of Mothman and M.I.C. squares obfuscating the bizarre game-changing possibilities that only a fine mind like Keel dared to consider.
