Fun listen plus I learned a few things!

This book was a joy to listen to from start to finish. I didn't know all that much about Willie Nelson when I purchased this book but I knew he was an interesting character.
I would recommend this book to music fans young and old.

This is by far the best book I've ever listened to or read I have always liked Willy and his free spirit attitude and all the music he has created. He certainly has and still is living a full life his way

The depth at which the story is told I get the feeling that nothing was left out he tells all the good and the bad

Which scene was your favorite?

His dealings with the IRS was great

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When he talks about his love for his children and the pain of losing Billy Nelson

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who likes to read or listen it is well worth your time I drive a truck for a living so I have a lot of on the road Idle time I could not turn it off I listened to it all in one sitting and I have every intention of listening again

Enjoyed this immensely. Would have given 5 stars if Willie had narrated it. Mr. Grant did a good job but it cried out for Willie's voice.

Willi is an interesting man

I enjoyed this book because Willi Nelson is so honest and tells it as it is. It was interesting to hear about his early years, being raised by his grandparents.

Willi has always been busting his butt one way or another to make a living. He talks about all the different jobs he did besides music to keep a roof over his family’s head and food on the table. He doesn’t deny his life long love of pot use nor early drugs & alcohol. Have to admire Willi for stopping drugs, alcohol and cigarettes!

Well read, the reader sounds a lot like Willi. Well written. Glad I bought this book. I found the life of Willi Nelson very interesting!

Couldn’t put it down

Willie Nelson has been an American staple my entire life, that’s 50 lengthy yrs. Because I’m a native Texan from Dallas and now living in Houston, I’m familiar with the TX cowboy character. I thank Willie for sharing his music, stories and good will towards others. Willie will forever make my heart happy. Hugs, Willie !

What a great story

If your a fan of Willie Nelson this book is a must read. It’s everything I hoped for and more. Willie has always been an inspiring character and his music will always take you on the journey. His story is just that his story but parts of his story is my story and your story. Thanks Willie, God bless.
