Priceless

Rosalynn Landor doesn’t just read this book, she acts it. I was laughing out loud during the scene with the pear brandy. She does an amazingly convincing American accent. Very entertaining book!

I have loved every book from Lisa Kleypas, and this is no exception. Another great story. Can’t wait for the other books in the series!!

Love the series

Book 0 and 3 will always be my favorites but I love the series and one adds to the next. Kleypas is phenomenal in storytelling and each one is intriguing. You can’t have 1/2 the series, you have to have the whole to understand the rest which includes the Ravenels!

Banter and Wit

These romance novels often tend to be the same story. Although it is obvious the main characters will fall in love in the end it’s fun to have the witty banter between the two. Seriousness and clever dialogue are always fun.

Loving this series so far

The author has a great way of writing conversation, as well as delving into the characters who are talking. She does this without over explaining or going on and on like some authors do. I can see everything she describes brilliantly!
I disagree with other reviews about Lillian. She is headstrong and bullish and downright stubborn, but she’s not a brat. She’s clever and daring. I love this romance. Though I don’t understand how we are supposed to come to terms with Sebastian in the next book in the series. I was shocked towards the end of this book that he seemed so evil. It will be interesting. This series is so clever, I love it and can’t wait to continue it to the end!

I couldn't stop listening! It's a terrific tale of a couple who initially can't stand each other, but as the tale goes....

Really enjoyed this!

I really enjoyed Lillian and Marcus' fiery chemistry and the push and pull between them! Their banter and the growth of their relationship was a lot of fun. I did wish we got more steamy scenes between them (aside from just kisses, I mean), but I really enjoyed what we did get. As always, Lisa Kleypas does a wonderful job with fleshing out characters and relationships, and Rosalyn Landor's performance was really good as well. I love the Wallflowers series!
