Great mix of creepy stories

I enjoyed this book along with the previous It Calls From the Sky. Great set of original creepy horror stories involving trees and anything that could possibly be in the forest. Think twice the next time you go walking in the woods.

Wonderful Performance and Great Variety

I will be the first to admit that I have a story appearing in this collection and may be somewhat biased. However, I think I can objectively say that Simon de Deney’s performance here is an absolute delight and that he really brings these tales to life. There is a great variety of work here from many wonderful authors. This one would definitely be worth your credit if you’re a lover of deep woods, rural horror.

A bit mixed

The narrator was great and did a fantastic job with what they had. The audiobook itself was mixed with a few stories that dragged on and could have been shorter, while the recordings themselves seemed to somehow go on to be released without being edited first to eliminate quite a number of repeat sentences.

Not as good as Volume 1, but solid collection

I got this after listening to Volume 1, which is a fabulous horror anthology. This one was good, but does not match the first in the quality and creepiness of the stories. There were a couple that didn’t hook me at all and none that spooked me - whereas there were several in the first collection that had me in suspense and made me want to look over my shoulder
