Better than the 2nd in the series

I've enjoyed the 1st and 3rd in the series, the 2nd less, but with so many books in the world to choose from, 3 of this series was enough... at least for now.

I LOVE ALL THE LOW COUNTRY TALES!

What did you love best about Isle of Palms?

I am from an island town and I find such truth and peace in her stories. Can't wait for the next one.

An amazingly delightful tapestry

A wonderful story I'll remember for years to come. By the end of the book I felt as if I'd had a personal relationship with each character.

Just loved the down-homeness and southern charm

If you’re looking for a nice uncomplicated touch of Dixie, this is your book. When I first started, I was ready to return this book, but the characters grow on you as you listen.

A truly amazing performance!

This is the kind of presentation that is so wonderful in both prose and narration that it is very hard to put words to. The author’s descriptions are beautiful, the realistic dialogue between characters, as well as the thinking going on in the minds of several characters, are all done so well. Between this amazing author and the truly gifted narrator, I was immediately taken into this story. I’ll be thinking it over for years to come.
