About this listen

Buy Iron Cobras MC Box Set #2, which includes the following three books:

Book one: Unattached

To prove my usefulness to the Iron Cobras, I have to go undercover and risk my life.

My name is Ryder, and I just got out of prison.

I go back to the Iron Cobras where I have been a member, even while I was in prison.

I thought my life could only get better, but then, the love of my life and I break up.

Not wanting to have to see her at the club every day, I decide to prove my usefulness to the MC and go undercover.

I join the Wicked Warlocks as a prospect and tell them that because I went to prison, the Iron Cobras kicked me out, and now, I want revenge.

This is where I see my high school girlfriend Janeen. She is an adult film actor known as Diamond Desire for the Wicked Warlocks.

I will do anything to get her away from the MC and the industry.

I might even have to die trying.

Book two: Unexpected

The Iron Cobras MC needs more security, and so, Clyde is tasked with making a deal with another club nearby.

He is stunned to find out that the president is not only a woman, but smoking hot.

He quickly falls for her.

When members of her own club try to kill her, he will do anything to protect her.

So, he becomes her security.

Book three: Unforeseen

Garrett wants to get patched fast, and he knows the fastest way they will allow it is if he kills an enemy in law enforcement.

So, it goes to a vote that if he kills Bobby, a corrupt DEA agent targeting the MC, he can get his patch fast-tracked.

Garrett needs more motivation then that, so he looks into the DEA agent and finds he was convicted of assaulting a woman but only got probation.

But when he starts talking to the woman, it changes everything and not only puts his life in danger, but hers, too.

Just ok!

The second box set wasn't as good as the 1st. The male narrator was horrible, his voice was flat and emotionless.

Iron Cobra’s MC

Each story was unique, suspenseful and kept me invested on each Iron Cobra member and the ladies they fell in love with. I enjoyed this box set.
Narration was great

its pretty good

I liked this series overall but some of the books rubbed me wrong.

***contains spoilers***

This set of the series feels a little different, like the problems the couples were faced with were kind of dumb. Like in the first one, he has an issue with her being a porn star and feels she needs time to get out of that mind set before she can be in a relationship with him, a guy she has loved since childhood. IDK. Plenty of porn stars out there with meaningful fulfilling lives. She didn't seem that mentally screwed up from it and of course made the cllhoice to get out on her own which showed shes really not attached to it. Seems like their "issues" could have been fixed with a simple conversation about her not talking about everything she has done and him being straight up about being undercover. He knew she didn't want to be there and had no loyalty to them. And they were apart for a year...!!! But still regularly talking to echo other? OMG, overkill, maybe a couple months, why a whole year? Again, kind of dumb.

The second book wasn't so bad but the third had that weird disconnect too. Like she would believe anything her rapist says. This man has ruined her life and she believes him. She knows he has cameras but doesn't consider how he got in her apartment. Hes been trying to force himself on her again but she accepts a drink from him?? And the H knows this DEA agents has been trying to frame the club and raped his girl but one negative comment about her and he's believing it. Eh. That's a really big stretch. The writing isn't bad but the stories needed more research and just general thought put into them.

With all that said, I did like the books and dont regret the purchase, but its not the best out there and this last half of the series barely has to do with the MC.
