About this listen

John Chrysostom (c. 347-407), Archbishop of Constantinople, was an early Church Father. This series of eight instructions concerning baptism were given by him, most likely at Antioch around the year 390. Their interest derives from Chrysostom's activities for the baptismal candidates and as their instructor in Christian doctrine and morality.

a sermon read does but a sermon make

pretty tough to listen to, in that You really have to concentrate. it's serious content and good content, but thick. might be helpful to have a copy to read along.
the reader did well. it would be interesting to have a dramatic presentation, as if really preaching.
In the section about superstition, it was interesting to hear about the superstitions of the time.
