What a wonderful story to get lost in… the time jumps are a little distracting but the story itself is so wonderful. Great choice of narrators. So easy to get invested in the story. I wish it was another hour or two longer. Pure bliss. Absolutely loved it!

Love the chemistry!

Nice slow burn, not too graphic but still steamy! Loved the character development and angst!

I couldn’t put it down

Loved Izzy and Nate’s relationship. You can feel their chemistry and I loved the anual vacation idea. Great story, great narrators.

The possibilities

My first book by Rebecca and I really enjoyed her writing. She blended past & present well.

I also enjoyed the characters themselves and was brought into their world seamlessly.

I struggle with one thing and it left a bad taste in my mouth that was hard to ignore. Maybe it's just a pet-peeve of mine, I don't know, but I don't like how much sleeping around Izzy and Nate did once they've met. It was like an open relationship, but like it wasn't? I don't know. It gave me the ick.
I love when a couple meet for the first time and their world is changed. Not this concept of looking forward to seeing them again but having side relationships on the way? It watered down their relationship.

Typical Romance

Story was enjoyable enough. Nothing special really. If you’re a romance fan, you’ll like this. Loved the male narrator. The female, not so much. I hated listening to her sections. She read like some customer service prerecorded phone service. “For information, press 1”, this was the vibe she gave. Grated on my last nerve. I almost gave up listening because of her. Would have given this 5 stars all around but for her performance.

Really great story

The narration was great, the story was well structured and the characters were well developed. I will look for more books by this author. I really enjoyed this book!

The love 2 people had for each other but Duty always taking priority.

I could read this book several times and still get excited like it was the first time. The way a life and death situation brought 2 people together, it gave the love they had for each other a solid foundation!!
I would highly recommend reading!!
