About this listen

Here is the compelling narrative of the founding of America, told from a perspective that few people have ever heard. That perspective is the Sermon on the Mount. America's currency declares, "In God we trust." But did the American colonists truly trust in God in the founding of the United States? The product of nine years of research, this new work challenges much of what most of us learned in school about the founding of America and the American Revolution. Bercot's well-documented findings will surprise many people. At the same time, this timely work will strengthen the convictions of those who are committed to living by the Sermon on the Mount.

Thought provoking!

This is an unusual but very interesting take on Early American history and the circumstances and events that shaped our civilization! Looking forward to hearing more of these types of books from Mr. Bercot! Great narration as well!

An excellent non biased look into History.

A gruesome look into a very real past of American. Looking into the past standing in the Kingdom of God sizing up the evil deeds of man to the Commandments of our King the Lord Jesus Christ. See the explanation of freewill, it’s scary to see that those men of our first of American history ideas of freewill or freedom is very similar as to how people in power view freewill and freedom today.

The other side of the story

Would have never guessed that "In God we trust" was not sincere. How blind can we humans get??

History through a believer's lens

No real new info here for even a light history reader. But that history is presented through the viewpoint of things Bercot likes, which were in accordance with gods will, and those things he did not like were obviously beyond its borders.
The narrator has a pleasant enough voice but the several mispronunciations of English words was distracting.
