No Surprises Here

She did not reveal anything particularly new or shocking. Her making fun of Melania Trump’s accent was in poor taste as was revealing personal details of her life having no significance that were I’m sure hurtful and embarrassing to the former First Lady. Initially was going to give 3 stars, but it did keep my attention enough to finish it, thus the 4 stars.

Compelling

For four years, I’ve asked, “Why on God’s earth would anybody work for such a monster?” Stephanie explains it very well in this book. I was so engrossed that I finished the book in two days. I wish her well on her future endeavors and to finally be at peace with herself.

Very honest

I am really enjoying this book. Stephanie seems very honest with her stories and thoughts.

Very slanted

Sounds to me like she is protecting herself while providing tidbits. Poor Melania can’t do something because of what the press will do ? Give me a break. She

It was a good read. But seemed more like a confessional. I hope Stephanie finds peace. 🙏

I was surprised - I really enjoyed it

FWIW I’m a dem. I waited to get this book bc yes I was mad at the admin & I already listened to melania & me - and there truly are 2 sides to every story. but the more I heard & heard her voice I decided to get it. SG’s narrative fulfills my ongoing wish during those 4 years …to be a fly on the wall when x was happening. I’m grateful she stayed all 4 years. It’s nice to hear the other side of the story & really appreciate her objectivity in hindsight & willingness to see big picture & be brutally honest in her self-reflection. Looking back I’m so grateful SG stayed all 4 years, she did provide more continuity than one might suspect. I sense she truly was there in service & also realizing a lifelong dream.

This is easy to listen to & found myself reflecting on my own life in tandem. It’s such a mind warp on so many levels bc not only the chaos of an the admin but the dramatic changes & trauma that came with COVID. We’re forever changed - it hit all of our lives in ways I cannot wrap my head around. So thank you SG for putting it all out there. I think your grandpa in CO would be proud.

Also I was shocked at how bratty the trump kids are/were & how much they distracted daddy from his job. He was putting out their fires & mistakes .., lolomg the jacket. DT had to clean that up too.

Same but, less

It was just as everyone else. We all with normal thinking brains know about the Trumps. How slimy they all are and they’re loyalist.

They are all victims!

This revealed very little above what was already know. It was probably good therapy for the writer, and helped her cash flow. Maybe now they can all just leave the country to those who are willing to govern for the people not themselves.
