As a mom of a daughter, I found myself many times in tears while reading this. Would I be able to handle losing a child? My child? Jackie Hance is completely honest about the aftermath of losing her three children and the devastation that it caused her in life.

After this book, I feel like a little part of me knows her and her daughters. I hope they can all find peace and someday be together again.

Beautifully written and heartbreaking story.

Jackie and Warren Hance not only survived the unthinkable; they put their lives back together and crafted an amazing legacy for their beautiful girls. This story is raw and honest and I love that Jackie tells it herself.

Heartbreaking but extraordinary

I have been hooked to this book listening between work, errands, kids, husband etc., basically any time I could find a few minutes to myself, I'd listen.

This story has touched my heart and soul.

I have always paid close attention to this woman’s story. Mostly reading about it and watching documentaries. One thing I never did do was ever think of badly of the parents. This awful tragedy is by far one of the worst worse I have ever heard of and still somehow mom and dad found a way to live again. I can only imagine the pain and hurt. Such a wonderful story. I would love to know how things are going nowadays.

The strength of this woman and her husband.

This book broke me and rebuilt me a couple of times. Despite being well-written and captivating, this is the most heartbreaking and terrifying subject matter that any parent can fathom. I can’t imagine what sort of hell Jackie and Warren Hance had to suffer through (actually, I can, since Jackie is a gifted storyteller), and I hope that every day brings them closer to peace.
I am genuinely grateful that they created the Beautiful Me campaign to support girls and women who need help to remember what makes them special. They are truly selfless and kindhearted people.
Lastly, I can’t think of two people more deserving of the unconditional love of a child. I hope that their life with their little Kasey is full of light and joy.
Rest in peace Emma, Allison, and Katie. You won’t ever be forgotten.

The story left me speechless throughout its entirety. My heart broke for Jackie (and Warren) in every single chapter. Prayers to them STILL, in 2024. Prayers to her babies Emma. Ali. Katie🕊️🕊️🕊️ & Kacey.

this story put my own problems in perspective. I cant stop thinking about this tragedy. The impact on the survivors was devastating. My theory is that Diane had a migraine which she treated with alcohol and then had a focal seizure making her unaware of her surroundings. The last hours for those children is haunting. im so glad that Jackie was able to have another precious child. I wish she could have more children. Such an intriguing and amazing story. I pray for healing.

heartwrenching

There is nothing not to like about this book. I don’t have kids and it was hard for me not to get emotional many times. Thank you for this book.

Touching and extremely well done. Prayers for all your girls and your entire family.
