This Book Lives Rent Free in my Mind!

I had previously read this book on KU and loved it. Once I realized it was on Audible, I had to give it a listen.

I'm very picky when it comes to performances, its a sensory thing, but I enjoyed the voice actors. The performance was pleasant sounding but also portrayed the right emotions.

Amazing Audio!

They did amazing with this book! I love listening to Corvin King, so of course I got this book as soon as it came out in audio! the story was great too! I loved the progression of Kane and Ezra! I really want Revs book next!!

Man.. I went into this BLIND. Were talking- only knew of the book because of a TikTok recommendation and that’s it.

This book 💯lived up to the HYPE! Just.. go listen and thank me later!! It’s perfection!!

Outstanding Performances by narrators! 🔥

I thoroughly enjoyed “Ignite” and am eager for more books in the Sinro Enterprises series. I’m new to this author but will surely follow as I love how she wrote deep, well developed characters and a truly interesting storyline. I tend to get a lot of recommendations for lighter romances, but I found this book because of the voice actors (I will listen to literally anything read by Corvin King) this book is so much deeper and I got absorbed in the intricate world Glenn created.
The pace and flow of the book was spot on, supported by superb narration by Dicosimo & King.
Intimate scenes were pretty great, though I am greedy and would have liked more of them. I felt frustrated that some scenes were merely mentioned & I wished these could have been scripted and acted out instead. The love scenes that were written in full had yummy details, with fabulous internal musings from the MCs POV and verbal dialogue which I adored.
I can’t wait for more!

Amazing story

This book was absolutely amazing. It hit so many emotional points for me but there was so much love and beauty in the relationship that developed. In the relationship between the supporting characters. This book took me on an emotional rollercoaster but it was so worth it. Cain, beautiful, hard, sweet Cain. He has had his fair share of struggles and issues in his life. Ex- special forces that had trouble adjusting back into society, opened his own business of mercenaries to deal with the crap that the justice system hasn’t been able to take care of. He’s had so many problems in his own life. And then we have Ezra. Beautiful, broken and amazing Ezra who started out as a victim and clawed his way out. There was one quote that resonated with me in this book. One part that just tore my heart out in the best way possible. “My boy went to heaven, and I got to pull you out of hell.” - Jakey. In this life we don’t always get someone to pull us out of our own personal Hell’s but Ezra was truly blessed and so was Jakey, they had each other and their relationship was just truly beautiful in the most purest way. Cain and Ezra are perfect for each other, they have so much chemistry, so much love for one another. It’s slow going, but in this type of book it definitely needs slow. They build something wonderful and deep, something electric. The writing is amazing. This is the first book I’ve read by this author but it will not be the last. I am definitely a big fan now. I love when an author can move me to tears, when they can make me fall in love with their characters and care for them as if they are my own, when they can make me smile through the pain. Abigail Glenn definitely does that. My heart aches for Ezra’s pain, for Cain. But my heart is so full of love right now for these two characters and the many amazing supporting characters in this book. It was a remarkable journey of healing, of pain and love, of mental health issues. This is definitely a book that deals with heavy topics, please pay attention to the TW’s but it is worth it. This book is worth all the pain. Cause the love you feel? That is just amazing. This group of mercenaries is like an extended family and I loved getting a glimpse into them. I loved the dark humor in this book, it’s totally my kind of humor but it was done well, it didn’t feel inappropriate. I loved that Ezra was able to find himself and build himself up, that Cain and Rev and the others all gave the support he needed to become who he was meant to be, and really his growth in the end was so inspiring to see. Definitely a five star read and I can’t wait to see what comes next. The narrators did an amazing job. I absolutely love these two narrators and they have become instant buys for me, they bring the characters to life!

Meh

I would listen to anything narrated by Liam Dicosomo. That being said, this story was just beyond silly. All of these tales require a bit of suspension of disbelief in order to roll with the ridiculous scenarios but this one....I was rolling my eyes at the speed of the insta-love. Luckily, the story rolled along smoothly and benefitted from some amusing side characters but man...it was impressively ridiculous.

My Babies!!!

I’d already read this but as soon as it was added to audio, I had to purchase and reread. Could there have been any better narrators than Corvin & Liam? I don’t think so! This is going to be my new comfort listen. Ezra & Cain are goals for what I love in mm romance!

Dark Romance Done Right

I don’t think I paused this book for more than 5 minutes once I started it. Normally I’m interested in much longer reads than this one because I like the build of the romance and the character development, but I got all of that plus a dark romance done the right way from this read. Emotionally powerful without all the gory details of the backstories that made the characters who they are. Explicit spice that is romantic. One of my favorite parts: really solid ending chapters that made the story feel complete without being rushed. Excited to see which character’s HEA will be next.

One of the best dark romances I’ve listened to in a while

I absolutely loved this book and the narrators. It was never slow paced and didn’t have too much angst. It made me laugh, cry, and pissed off. 10/10

My first by this author and these two narrators.

I picked this up when Audible did the site wide sale, not knowing what to expect.

I wasn't disappointed.

This whole story is action packed, with levels of stories and characters.
I have to be honest, I was getting a little concerned towards the end when everyone was still hunting the bad guys that we the story was either going to end on a cliffhanger or feel rushed but neither happened. The author finiahed the story and left me feeling satisfied.

I enjoyed the narration of both characters, and look forward to hearing from this team in the future.
