Stella, as Lark, is also connected to the EH world which you find out about in the book.

Kim wrote a devilishly delicious romance and it may be one of her hottest I've read so far.

Sweet Novella!

Travis and Lark's story is sweet and sexy. This novella is set in the Everyday Heroes World and in the Ryker Ranch Series World. Travis, a sexy cowboy/firefighter, is handsome, caring, and protective. Lark is a strong survivor, lovely, and determined. The storyline is fast-paced and easy to read. Impossible to put it down. I read it before, and the audiobook version beautifully brings this sweet story to life. Jason Clarke, Stella Hunter did a fantastic job with the duet narration, with a special appearance by Aaron Shedlock. I enjoyed it. I love Kim Loraine's writing. She never disappoints.

Love this entire series Ryker ranch by Kim Loraine. The fabulous narration in Ignite by Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter is the icing on the cake !

Always love a Ryker!

If you loved the brothers of the Ryker Ranch then you won’t want to miss this sexy story of their firefighter cousin, Travis and his bosses daughter Lark. This is also an age gap live story, which usually isn’t my favorite, but Kim Loraine has made these characters so complex and nuanced that I didn’t mind the gap. The twist and turns and hurdles these two go through to find their HEA will have you sighing, gasping, crying and finally cheering for this somewhat star-crossed couple. But never fear, Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter navigate this minefield of a story with so much heart and steam and grace that you will wish it would go on and on. Loving this Ryker family!

Cowboys and firefighers!

I finally popped my Kim Loraine cherry! So glad I did. Cowboys and firefighters? Yes, please!

Travis is a cowboy turned firefighter. After a bad breakup, he decides to up and move to get away from bad memories. He starts working at a new firestation, and really likes his fellow fighters. When an accident puts Travis and Lark in the same place, there's an almost immediate attraction. They try to fight it for a while...until they can't. When circumstances threaten their budding relationship, they must decide what's really important to them.

Travis and Lark's chemistry is off the charts. I loved how their story unfolded

Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter did a wonderful job narrating this great story.

Hot with some humor!

I am a 73 year old woman and wish I was 50 again!! I enjoy losing myself in books. It is very relaxing and helps me dwell on positive things instead of negative things. It makes for a relaxing break from every day life. I like the fact that there is always a twist to the stories and it never fails to spark my interest. I have really come to relish the narrators and feel like they are telling me the stories. It is nice to feel the hypnotic tones of their voices and come alive in their stories. Thank you for the light in my life.

Sweetness

Performance: I didn’t think Jason Clarke’s voice could get any sexier until I heard him as a cowboy. Whew! That man has the best growly tone. Stella was great as always. I have listened to many of her audiobooks and she still manages to make all her characters sound unique.
Story: This is Travis Ryker’s story and it does not disappoint. He is an older firefighter who falls for a young woman he meets in an unconventional way. Sparks fly from the beginning and the spice is excellent. Travis has some baggage that causes drama but they get their HEA in the end.

Loved the story of Travis & Lark!

I could not put this one down, this story was that good. Travis and Lark’s story is an age gap with a forbidden element and from the moment they met they were on fire. I loved how both characters helped each other overcome their pasts through their love. This book took you on a journey of emotions, it will make you laugh and cry and there were plenty of steamy moments that will leave you fanning yourself. I really enjoy Kim’s storytelling and this one will go in the repeat stack! Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter are perfection as Travis and Lark. There was added bonus of Aaron Shedlock back as the Ryker brothers. An amazing read/listen that you should pick up especially if you love firefighters and cowboys.

Sexy and emotional age-gap romance

Ignite by Kim Loraine is an age-gap romance in the Everyday Heroes World. I discovered Kim Loraine with her Ryker Ranch series, which I absolutely love. This story bridges the two worlds as the hero here is a cousin of the Rykers.

Ignite centers on the sizzling connection between Travis, a sexy as sin firefighter/cowboy and Lark, a much younger, college-aged woman, who are instantly drawn to each other. Both Travis and Lark are wounded characters who eventually find strength and comfort in each other. Travis was burned badly by his ex-wife and Lark has had a traumatic incident in her past that she's been struggling to recover from.

The duet style narration of this story is perfect for showcasing the chemistry these two have for each other. Jason Clarke is perfectly cast and absolutely smolders as Travis. Stella Hunter does a wonderful job bringing all the dimensions of Lark’s character to life, showing both her fierce independence, and the vulnerability that her past has left her with.

The attraction between these two is off the charts. Even though there is a fairly large age difference, these two characters have so many layers that it’s easy to see why they develop such a deep connection so quickly. The very real world issues that they both are facing help elevate the story from your traditional age-gap trope to a much more compelling and nuanced romance.
