Cute Story

I enjoyed the book a lot. The audiobook was even better would definitely recommend cute little story. I gave it three stars.

LOVED LOVED LOVED

Such a sweet good read!! I loved the narrator, but the story was so good anyone could have read it and I would have loved it!!

Sweet

Very sweet story but it was slow. The main character didn’t have a lot of development which was odd- however writing a story about cancer has to be difficult. The author sounded like Jennifer Coolidge- so if you like her voice, you’re good if not, good luck.

Courage and strength about cancer

Open discussion about someone with cancer who was challenged with treatments and remission and the person who stood by her. Great story!

Likeable Characters. Slowly Paced. Boring Plot.

I love all other books I've read by Allison Ashley, especially Would You Rather and Roommate Pact, but this one felt rushed and flat. The book drags on with really only two things happening - a young woman struggles with cancer and while in remission, she finds the love of her life the night before her procedure and, spends 75% of the book trying not to date him for a few reasons. These two things could have been summarized in a book about 2 - 3 hours, and it's just too long with very little happening. It was hard to finish. The characters are likable, but there isn't enough of a story arc to capture your attention as a reader. All that said, I still love this author and will continue to read her work.

Cheesy, Predictable but Cute

Cute, cheesy and predictable but great when you want easy loveable romance for anytime of year that might jerk a cheesy tear to two.

Not for me.

This book was boring for me. There was no major build up or conflict. I think it could’ve been better.

Had potential but fell flat

Lame story. The story premise had potential, but was not interesting enough to keep me intrigued. I kept waiting for some bigger conflict or drama, but nothing happened.

Not that interesting

The story starts strong with an interesting hook about the Star crossed partners but then it gets old.
