Amazon #1 Best Seller - Anesthesiology
Dive into a hilarious assortment of real-life medical stories and adventures from the operating room and beyond!
Artfully written with a witty, authentic, and often sarcastic tone, I Watch You Sleep is a humorous and profound collection of true medical stories, drawn from the life and career of practicing anesthesiologist Zach Antonov, MD. As the lovechild of an often-misunderstood medical field and a passion for amateur comedy, this book is bursting with pointed anecdotes, silly stories from college and med school, modern medical controversies, and the low-down on all the things that occur behind closed hospital doors.
From mind-boggling medical inaccuracies to TV doctor tropes and tons of stories from the operating room, I Watch You Sleep provides readers with a fresh and thoughtful perspective of what really goes on when you get knocked out. Told with Dr Antonov’s natural smart-mouthed charm and an endearing sense of humor that will warm your heart, this collection is an unforgettable memoir-of-sorts that sheds light on anesthesiology and echoes a deeper message of care, passion, and a genuine love for his patients.
Perfect for professionals in the medical field, as well as anybody who wants to kick back, enjoy a good laugh, and maybe learn a few valuable things along the way, this book will give you a deeper appreciation for anesthesiology and the tireless commitment of physicians.

Hilarious, fascinating, and a roller coaster of dizzying, historical what-ifs, Napoleon's Hemorrhoids is a potpourri for serious historians and casual history buffs. In one of Phil Mason's many revelations, you'll learn that Communist jets were two minutes away from opening fire on American planes during the Cuban missile crisis, when they had to turn back as they were running out of fuel. You'll discover that before the Battle of Waterloo, Napoleon's painful hemorrhoids prevented him from mounting his horse to survey the battlefield.

Story
Myrna, Leonie, and Chrissy meet every Thursday to sample fine cheeses, to reminisce about their former lives as professors, and lately, to muse about murder. Decades ago, a vicious cabal of male poets contrived—quite publicly and successfully—to undermine the writing career, confidence, and health of their dear friend Fern. Now, after Fern has taken a turn for the worse, her three old friends decide that it’s finally time to strike back—in secret, of course, since Fern is far too gentle to approve of a vendetta.

Great, funny book!
I usually hate computer generated voices, but this one was great! it had a few hangup, but not major as many as some of the distractingly bad real narrators I listened to. I loved the book.
