About this listen

These men don't build bridges... They bury bodies.

Hunter I wasn't looking for his kind of trouble. It found me anyway. Tall. Dark. Addictive. He unravels me with his ferocity. Melts me with his touch. It's impossible not to become consumed by him. Until I find out who he really is.

He has a hidden agenda far beyond his craving for me. Something menacing and sinister. I need to run. From him. From the danger. But running from the hunter means I've now become the prey.

Decker

He's my defender. My savior. A brutally determined man with a cocky smirk and an equally cocky attitude. Broad. Strong. Focused. He seduces me with his flirtation. Warms me with his care. But he's hiding something. A thirst for more than my safe keeping. I can't fall for him. Cant be tempted by his touch. Not when he cant be trusted. But questioning my protector means I've now become his target.

Torian

I fell for the enemy. A man whose actions resemble the devil so closely it frightens me. We were meant to hate each other. To despise and detest.

But his appeal is so much greater than the playboy smile and body built for sin. What I'm doing is wrong. What I'm feeling is immoral. Because, he's the head of the Portland underworld. And I'm the Fed agent who promised to take him down.

Three out of three great romantic suspense stories

This box series is a great introduction to the characters and their lovers, who pop up throughout the series. I love the narration.

So many plot holes.

** this contains spoilers***
I bought this because I really liked Bishop. I don’t like plot holes. I’m only about halfway through and can’t let go of a few things. If the senators son was so important in finding out who the mole was inside Torrians outfit, Why would Hunter kill him? Sara already had him incapacitated, why not throw him in the trunk of Dans car, then chase down Sara to find out what she knows. Wouldn’t it have been a lot easier to torture the info from him.
Second when Sara decides to confront Torrian with a stripped down version of her conversation with Dan, it holds zero credibility. Why not go with the whole truth. She was trying to find Josh and she found a picture of Dan and Josh together and questioned him about if he knew who he was. The only answer she got was Zack, Zeke or Vaughn which meant nothing to her. Especially since she tried to look him up and found nothing. Or could have stuck to him saying he couldn’t remember his name and only found out recently when Hunter offered to help her find him and found out that Josh was Vaughn. If Dex is so good at computers, tracking and such why not pair up to Vaughn phone or hack his emails and plant information? The author is making this harder than it has to be. I understand suspense, but this is just so hard to follow when there were obvious reasons to the whole Dan issue to begin with. I mean the author could have let Dan take the fall and give up his informant and have that informant be for a rival gang. Giving a reason for danger. Especially since Hunter is not a part of Torrians gang. So he would be left with no protection from Torrian.
