About this listen

Ever feel like you don’t belong?

Try being a hunter living with werewolves. I’m the definition of “doesn’t fit in”. I’m not pack, but I’m not the enemy, either.

I struggle to survive among werewolves who are stronger and faster than me, and are competitive enough to break a bone or two for the sake of “fun.”

Greyson, their alpha, is the worst of them all.

Blatantly relentless and twice as deadly, Greyson rules the pack and expands its territory, even though it’s already the largest in the region. I just wish he’d stop interfering with my life. He’s got enough trouble of his own with his incomplete mate bond, but he’s made it his hobby to tease and test me at every opportunity.

Doesn’t my life sound fun?

When wolves from surrounding packs start mindlessly attacking the innocent humans in our city, Timber Ridge, everything changes.

Werewolves don’t turn feral without reason, which means someone is making this happen, and they’re targeting our pack.

I don’t like where this is going, but how am I supposed to stop a feral wolf outbreak when I’m just one hunter? Can Greyson and I set aside our differences to see the pack through this?

Hunted is the first book in the Pack of Dawn and Destiny urban fantasy trilogy and is part of the Magiford Supernatural City world. It features werewolves, hunters, and fae, and is filled with humor, adventure, and a sweet romance that will have you laughing in delight.

Best series

I love love love these books! They’re shorter, light hearted, funny, and adorable! Same for the other Magiford series.

So much murmuring

The narrator murmures a lot, and the male voices aren't great.
The story is fine, but not as good as the other magiford stories.

Interesting story

Liked the story, the narrators were great. I wish the female narrator didn’t whisper so low, you have to strain to hear sometimes

great narrator for a great story

I have found that some books I like better when I read it and some I like better when I listen to it. I definitely connected with the characters more with the audio, the narrators were really great.

Light, funny, and a bit of romance

Surprisingly great narration. This book was a great listen for me. I was in the mood for a light, funny, and romantic book. It hit all of those check boxes. The romance is a little low with promise of more which I found a nice build up. But if your looking for heavy romance, it’s not this book. I also like the strong female lead with her sense of humor. A very likable lead.

Enjoyable story 📖

I truly enjoyed this book. I didn’t want to put it down. The drama, suspense and comedy was really good, it did have a bit of romance but I think book 2 with give me that romance punch am looking for. This was so worth the credit plus it’s not a cliffhanger (something that usually makes most of us irritated). 🥰

Awesome book with two great narrators

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this. Kitty's books are always amazing and she sure knows how to pick the perfect narrators for her books. 10/10... I highly recommend!

Another Great K. M. Shea!!

Ahhh…. I Love Pack of Dawn and Destiny and I am so excited that this series is now on Audible!

I’ve read these books before so I had an idea of how these characters should sound in my head, and the only reason I gave the performance 3 stars instead of 4-5 is that it didn’t match up with how the chat sounded when I physically read the book. 😄

I love all things K. M. Shea, and Pack of Dawn and Destiny is a great third installment to her overall Magiford series. You can definitely read PoDaD as a stand-alone series but I do highly recommend the first two trilogies in the Magiford series: Hall of Blood and Mercy, and Court of Midnight and Deception.

Clean, funny/fun, slow-burn fantasy romance. Highly recommend!
