You really can’t go wrong with any of these IVV books—and this one is no exception. What’s not to love about a female lead who is an assassin, specializing in p0!s0n?

Sooo yea. It’s fun! It has a hint of crossover with some of the others in this world (well, that I know of, as I’m still reading my way through it), and a good amount of action.

Dystopian vibes.
Fae … ALL the supernaturals.
Assassin.
Fated mates.
T0rture sessions.
Mysteries.
Slow-burn romance.
Enemies-to-lovers.
Gods.
Magic.

Overall:
A fun listen and contribution to this world, IMO.

The Ultimate Enemies to Lovers Fated Mate Story

Tori is an assassin like father before her; however she will not kill an innocent. Upon an opening of a portal and meeting her fated mate, Legion, she becomes poisonous to anyone who touches her.
Neither Tori or Legion believes they are suppose to have a fated mate and neither wants one
Pitted against each other they must work thrpugh the mysteries, lies and treachery that surround them
Great secondary characters which provide possibilities for great stories to follow
Enjoyed the narration and hoping to enjoy more of the series

Tori and Legion

I think the narrators did a good job. So far the narrators chosen for the audios told the story in a relaxing and enjoyable way.

Tori is an assassin who is also responsible with taking care of her sister. Legion is a dragon shifter from Tartarus. Even though it says it's the third book in the series it is a standalone a character may be mentioned but since different authors wrote books on other characters there aren't any real spoilers. I love how feisty, fierce, stubborn and ready to fight these female characters are. Legion is protective and even though Tori is his mate not only does he have to deal with her stubbornness, he also isn't allowed to touch her as she is cursed and who ever comes in contact with her skin dies. There's a bunch of stuff going on, trying to find out who cursed her, the chemistry between the two of them, the war games Legion and his army play, Legion and his crazy family ect. So far there are five books out on audio I am going to listen to another one and I hope that all the books in the series come out on audio.

Beautifully told

Such a fun read a beautiful enemies to lover, PNR, fated mates, fantasy read. Loved Legion & Tori's story and how it played out. Amazing chemistry and beautifully told.#TheFlockonTour

Love the banter

I'm loving this series. In this book we get Tori and Legion's story. Theirs is more of a slow burn, enemies to lover's with lots of banter. I love the fantasy world this author has created and all the characters in it.

The narration was really well done. Definitely recommend this series.

Duet Narration

I love that the narration dialog is done by each person in each chapter. Instead of the female doing guy voices and vice versa.

Love the series

The duet style narration really brings the story to life. This whole series was done in this style, meaning the male narrator did all the male voices and the female did all the female voices. It just really takes the audiobook listening experience to a new level. Both of these narrators were fabulous. The story is fantastic. Each one is connected with the carry over of characters but they can be listened to as stand alones. Actually I am missing one of the books in the middle as it was not available until recently. I will be going back and getting it- all the books in the series are just that good. I highly recommend for paranormal romance fans. I mean dragon shifter! Hello?!

I enjoyed this book. I can’t wait to read about Kendall. Both narrators did an excellent job at narrating

Legion and Tori's story is a great slow burn packed with lots of action, danger, and suspense. These two are hesitant to fall into that mate bond at first, and really develop a relationship before giving in as a result, and I loved that aspect of it. There is so much pain in their pasts creating mistrust in general, and I loved seeing their trust grow for each other. The twists were CRAZY, and the whole story kept me captivated waiting for the next bomb to drop. So many other characters I'm interested in knowing how their stories will go. Narrators really brought the story to life.

Magic, dragons, witches, shifters and vampires! What's not to love?!

Tori is an assassin... with a conscience 😂. She won't kill innocents. She is on an assignment when she runs, literally into Legion, her mate! He's the big and scary shadow dragon Army General, whom Tori wants nothing to do with... except he accidentally poisoned her. There is a whole lotta fun, friendship , sister bonds and drama and fighting and s3xual tension that I don't want to spoil! This is a definite listen and I really liked this book a lot!!! Sarah Puckett is a fave of mine, and James Amherst is new to me, but he did an amazing job as well and I would definitely not be mad about listening to him again 😊🫠.
