Entertaining!

Besides wanting to hear about the Menendez case (out of curiosity) I was delightfully entertained with this Juror’s dairy and her side notes! Those were the best. Informative and good perspective of the trial by someone who was there. I agree, nothing new BUT the authors side notes make it fun and quirky…it made me smile from time to time. Not boring at all.

Obsessed

I was busy with a new baby in 1989 but I do remember the court case on TV. I don’t remember having an opinion at all. Now, however, as I am looking back at the case, I would’ve let the boys off on second-degree murder. Who knew at that time that my little baby was going to throw up being molested by his own father. My son has grown up wondering what he did wrong, feeling like a piece of sh.. had learning problems in school and has complex PTSD. The damage done lasts a lifetime. He is 34 now and survives but always feels like a victim. I can relate to Erik but Im the mom who loved and got my son help.

Proudly pro defense

Loved listening to Hazel tell her story of events. First off, I'm proudly pro defense, but appreciate the openness about trying to keep an open mind until the end. Also nice to hear Robert Rand on this audio book too. I appreciate these advocates continuing to champion for the truth. freethemenendezbrothers

Readers voice is off putting

Like content but the readers voices was unpleasant to me. The story is fascinating and has made me rethink all I thought I knew!
