Life changing book, a must listen!

This book lives up to its name - so simple yet so informative.

Not only does the author explore the different causes of stress, which really helped me engage with stress as a concept to better understand how to overcome it, she also steps through through many different and easy to follow strategies to cope with stress.

I've been quick to stress out for a long time and the strategies detailed in this book have really helped me focus on what's important and zone out the daily stresses that have stopped me from being present.
I've incorporated self talk, really focusing on what I can control, and journaling into my daily life and it has made a huge impact!

The production, narration and audio quality are great and make it such an easy listen.
Would highly recommend!

One of the best stress management books I’ve come

Having been fighting stress for quite a while (and failing at it), I’ve been searching for a guide to stress management which I could actually incorporate into my daily life, and I’ve finally found one. This was an incredibly engaging listen where many scientifically backed techniques were broken down in a straightforward manner.

In the past I’ve brushed over so many approaches to stress management which didn’t feel like they’d make a massive difference. Things like laughter, intrapersonal communication and breathing techniques. Their importance and value was emphasized very well within this book and I’ve already planned to include all of the suggested methods into my daily routine.

I’ve found this book to be way more accessible than others I’ve read on similar topics, where others seem to talk at you whereas this guides you along in a much more seamless manner. I particularly liked the parts where the author talked about her own personal battles with stress which gave the book an authentic feel.

I personally found the narration to be very calming, yet emphatic when needed. That, coupled with the excellent crispness of the audio allowed for a great listening experience. Would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a realistic guide to attaining a healthier mental state of mind!
