Wonderfully Done

Intrigue, suspense, humor and romance. Once again strong characters that also show compassion and gentleness. I love the author 's writing.

Who is doing the seducing?

Interesting storyline. I quite enjoyed this book however, as I listened to it out of order, I was kind of confused about some of the characters. It didn't take the enjoyment out of the story though. Our queen is a brave and strong lass. However, she has had quite a tragic past of sort. Our hero, well, I didn't think much of him at first. However, he did win me over knowing what he sacrificed in order to keep the queen safe. And as much as our hero plans to seduce the queen, it might be her seducing him in the end.

Edit: This book is much more serious than the other books in the series but considering some of the things that happened in the book to both the main characters, that is understandable. There is some humor and lighter parts to this book to balance it out, although some of the themes may be triggers for some readers.

Narrator did very well. No issues with her at all with the accent.

Overall, good book, good series!

His Queen

I love this historical story that pulls you into a life of strife, tradition, expectation and love doesnt always mean you get the person you want. The adventure, strife and mystery is exciting and I loved reading the book and listening to the audio. The narrator took me to a land that was wonderful.

Another Great Historical Fiction Romance!

I offered to review this audiobook because I am such an an avid reader but also almost exclusively audio due to my schedule. Because of this, I can be critical of narrators. Especially when books have a single narrator required to speak with different voices for multiple characters. Most cannot do it without having some errors where they use the wrong 'voice' for the wrong character. I am a true believer in the fact that a bad narrator can destroy a great book and have turned away several books with good ratings because of just that. The narrator in this book did a great job, so I was able to listen to the book without issue.

Next is the story. I am not one to give a lot of specific story details since I feel you should read the story for that, and in this case, you won't be disappointed. This is book 3 in a fun romance series, which has great characters that make you not want to quit listening. The storyline was an easy read and quite entertaining, with intrigue, deception, and romance. I am hoping there is more books in the series because I have enjoyed all the books so far!

Medeval Romance with wit.

How to Seduce a Queen was a fun read and I found it very amusing. I am not sure that was Stella Marie Aiden's goal but I will be listening to this story again. It is charming, and engaging. I was particularly drawn to the struggle Lady Fay has with the concept of a Higher Power. A de Bruce's journey to win her heart is curious and heroic in the same vain. I just really enjoyed this book and the talent Amy Soakes exhibits through her narration makes it that much better. Great story..great narrator...a win in my book.

great story, last in the characters from this author. liked how everyone grew and characters became more real in each story. great historical romance story.

Determination and perseverance

How To Seduce A Queen by Stella Marie Alden is another well written medieval romance. While this is the third book of her romance novels, it is completely stand alone. I accidentally listened to this book second, but I was not lost by any means. Nicholas and Lady Fay have some history and Nicholas sets out to woo the Lady Fay by untruthful and misleading ways. While Fay seems to be softening to "Nicodemas", others are plotting against Lady Fay and her keep. As the plot and the story move forward, there's plenty of medieval danger and suspense to keep you on the edge of your seat.
Overall an exciting and steamy medieval romance with the best HEA.

Intense!

I was taken aback from when the story started. I didn’t not expect that scheme to be conjured! The happenings, from up and down, beginning to end kept on at the edge of my seat and on my toes. It was absolutely brilliant!

Fodder for crushers

have you ever crushed on someone and made a fool of yourself? and your crush then turns around and says they're not interested. but then your crush turns around and has feelings for you to he just has to hide them for your protection. yeah totally fodder for crushers.

I totally enjoyed reading this book. It’s well written and the characters were fantastic. I would suggest this book to my friends that like this sort of genera. this was an excellent book
