About this listen

Just beyond the sleepy town of Briar Creek looms the sprawling Skurlock Estate, a crumbling relic steeped in blood-soaked history and haunting disappearances. When the Donavan family moves in, seeking a fresh start, they unwittingly awaken dark forces that have lain dormant for over a century.

As night falls, the estate's true horrors begin to unfold. Twisted whispers and chilling echoes reverberate through its decaying halls, and the very shadows seem to pulse with malevolent intent. Audra, a tenacious teenager with an insatiable hunger for the truth, seeks to unravel the mysteries surrounding her new home. But her discovery of an ancient grimoire—filled with dark, forbidden knowledge—ushers in a new wave of terror, as she realizes the book may hold both their salvation and their doom.

With each page turned, the Donavans are plunged deeper into a nightmarish existence, besieged by twisted apparitions and unspeakable horrors that claw at their sanity. In the shadows, an ancient and grotesque entity stirs, its malevolence feeding off their fears, demanding blood, sacrifice, and suffering.

"House of Lies" is a chilling descent into madness and brutality, where lives are shattered by the relentless pursuit of an ancient evil. The boundaries of life and death dissolve in a cacophony of screams, as shadows take on a life of their own. Will the Donavans unravel the estate’s harrowing mysteries before its too late, or will they become its next victims—lost souls trapped in an eternal nightmare? Brace yourself for a horrifying journey into the abyss, where every page is a testament to the brutality of pure evil. This is not just a horror novel—it’s an invitation into a living nightmare.
