Depressed from the complications of a head injury, Serena Manchester seeks solitude in the hometown she left almost 25 years before. Unknown to Serena, her hometown's landscape has changed and unseemly elements have seeped into the quaint Southern seaport town.

Loved it
I love a good murder mystery. Serena is in the wrong place at the wrong time to witness a crime. She see’s a familiar face or does she. This book kept me intrigued from beginning to end. Serena does her on investigation to solve a murder old and new.

Good Listen
I enjoyed the audio edition & the story line. Serena sure knows how to find trouble, but in all her finding she also locates solutions. The story is fast paced & easy to keep up with too. I enjoyed the story & the lack of romance. So, many Christian books have romance & it's nice to find one about a story not built around romance.

Captivating Story
As always Susan Spain does an excellent job narrating. The story definitely kept me guessing until the end. I’ll definitely check out Miss Moody’s other works.
