About this listen
Hosea's challenge to America!
Hosea, one of the most provocative prophets of the Old Testament, was called by God to declare God's impending judgment on the Northern Kingdom: They had been experiencing an unparalleled prosperity in their time, and yet they had sunk to the lowest moral depths of their two century history.
It was the best of times and it was the worst of times. As a result, God was about to use their enemies as his instrument of judgment. America, too, is in a disturbingly comparable situation: Unparalleled prosperity on the one hand, and yet immorality unprecedented in our two century history.
Is God also going to use our enemies as instruments of his judgment? Chuck Missler, internationally recognized Biblical authority, examines the predicament of Hosea and compares it with the present horizon confronting America.

Missler's enlightening view of the cohesiveness of the Bible will open your eyes to new depths of insight and understanding. His unique survey will take you from the mystery of creation through the climax of history.

Story
Is there one God or three? How does one reconcile the "One God" of the Sh'ma with the "Three Persons" of the trinity? The doctrine of the trinity has been at the heart of much theological controversy. The routine objection is that the doctrine sacrifices monotheism to "tritheism." But this objection thrives on a misconception of divine personality in the image of disparate, individual, human selves.

Story
The Book of Lamentations is a complete work in itself, a five-chapter book that is sort of an appendix to the Book of Jeremiah. The Book of Lamentations is his outpouring, where he essentially mourns for Jerusalem. The poor guy, on the one hand, was faithful in his office as a prophet; he told forth what God had told him to tell forth, and Jerusalem was going to be judged for her iniquity. On the other hand, Jeremiah was a patriot, his roots were there, and his emotional commitment to Judah was absolutely uncompromising.

What might an entropy profile of the seven days of the creation week look like?

Story
Hosea, a contemporary of Isaiah (for most of his ministry) and Amos (in his earlier years) was the Jeremiah of the Northern Kingdom. His main target was the Northern Kingdom, yet his message was for the people of God. When Solomon died, Jeroboam rebelled and plunged the Northern Kingdom into a prosperous but idolatrous separation. After two centuries of abandoning their heritage, God sent Hosea to present His indictment and declare that He would use their enemies as His judgment.

In this age of deceit and treachery it is vital to be protected from the consequences of the spiritual war raging around us. The Bible tells us to put on the "whole armor" of God. What is it? And when do you put it on? We are all already in enemy territory. The time to put on the whole armor is before the battle, not after it has already begun. Some of our adversaries wear three-piece suits, carry briefcases with cellular phones, speak excellent English, and network effectively. Are you equipped and prepared or are you a sitting duck?

This book, also called the Song of Solomon, is one of the most neglected - and controversial - books of the Bible. It is a book about lovemaking from an author who had 700 wives and 300 concubines. So explicit are these aspects that because of its erotic content, the rabbis forbade the book to be read by anyone under the age of 30.

The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.
