When Darwin first introduced his ideas in "On the Origin of Species" in 1859, it posed a significant challenge to prevailing religious and scientific beliefs of the time. The prevailing views at the time held that species were created in their current forms and remained unchanged. However, Darwin's revolutionary theory of evolution by natural selection suggested a different story.

The modern audience hasn't had a chance to truly appreciate the unknowing dread that readers would have felt when reading Bram Stoker's original 1897 manuscript. Most modern productions employ campiness or sound effects to try to bring back that gothic tension, but we've tried something different. By returning to Stoker's original storytelling structure - a series of letters and journal entries voiced by Jonathan Harker, Dr. Van Helsing, and other characters - with an all-star cast of narrators, we've sought to recapture its originally intended horror and power.

Interesting Story
The book is not exactly what I would call horror, but the ending was definitely not what I expected, to say the least. The story did hold my interest, but I wish it had delved a little more into who or what the stranger was. I received this book for free from an audiobook site. I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased review here of my own free will.
