Kinda corny but cute.

This book is definitely just like all the romantic comedies. It's corny and adorable, you can't help but love it.

Good chemistry

I love the way the author rights comedy and serious topics roled into a very interesting book. I cant wait to re read it over and over again.

Very sweet

If you are looking for something light and sweet without all the angsty drama this is a good one. I enjoyed it more than expected.

Well written, awesomely narrated

Great story, for the most part, and the narrator was/is one of my favorites and delivered awesomely, as always.

I did have issues with some of the character development, as it seems that one person in our romantic pair appeared to have to grow and overcome emotional issues to get anywhere, and the other woman basically just let it happen and then threw a tantrum at the first sign she might not get everything she wanted, failed to communicate, then threw her girlfriend out of her life for failing to immediate acquiesce to demands to get over her fears THIS MINUTE...and then got everything she wanted, later, without any effort on her part. Honestly, on further thought, this was realistic for many couples, but it left me feeling that our romantic couple weren't going to last more than a year or two, by which point the giving, growing, and more self-aware woman would eventually figure out how much more effort she was putting out. The imbalance left me feeling like it really wasn't the happy ending I'd hoped for them, and that our wedding planner was going to get wrecked again, just like her first marriage.

I still liked the story, though, and I have generally liked Georgia Beers' works, so I'd still recommend it to others. I loved how she worked in references to many of the various romantic stories I've enjoyed in the past, and used them to further her story.

I’m touched !

I wasn’t expecting this book to make me feel so many emotions at once but I’m so happy to have given it a listen. The characters in this story are just amazing , the kind of friends you wish you had and well I recommend this even if your not a mooshy romantic person .

Every book of Georgia Beers is a delight the story is well written, the characters are easy to relate to. Laurie Prince is a great narrator and she was as good here as well.

Romance for women

It was good to read a romance book where the romance is taking place between two females. The sex was good but not overpowering the story. Absolutely love the story would be more from this author I would recommend it to those who love romances whether they are, female female or male female.

Lighthearted

I really enjoyed this book. Though their relationship didn't start from a good place, if love is meant to be, it will happen. I especially loved how the final proposal was made so personal .

Super cute story. Lori Prince is my favorite narrator and kept me entertained through all of the characters. The story is your typical love story so no surprises there, but light hearted and funny! A great listen!
