About this listen

The NOLA Zombie series comes to a close with this emotional and action-packed installment.

Since the SHTF, Romeo is good at one thing, killing zombies. He doesn't want to waste his time with anything else. His fellow survivors think of him as a machine and he's fine with that. There isn't any time to waste on things, like feelings, or other nonsense.

Lena Dervay, former movie star, current walking victim, has barely been surviving in a repurposed middle school run by an incompetent army lieutenant. She and her group of survivors are as good as dead if they stay put. When Lena finally gets in touch with Romeo, she knows that if anyone can come in and save the day, it's him. Problem is, Romeo isn't the charming, white knight hero that she remembers. Lena is still drawn to him, though, and as their paths intersect she knows she might not come out intact in the end, body or soul.

This Book annoyed the crap out of me for hours!!!

But it Ended up Great! The female annoyed the shit out of me!!!! she was so whiney and frustrating to listen. to and this story could have been so much better but the writer just had to keep the story line stuck in them at a school for the most part. The main chapters should have been more involved in this last book and their should have been more love making action and thrill!! this was my least favorite book unfortunately but it's a must listen to or read to finish up the story. The first book started off so good and the last 3 books were dang good but this one just annoyed this piss ou mt of me. Its like an entirely different author wrote this book.
Try better next time PLEASE!!!!

Torn on this one.

I’ll say it straight up; I hated Lena. She was useless. Had she been in my camp, she’d have been my Otis. If you watch The Walking Dead, you’ll get the reference. I love this series. I seriously binge listened to the whole series. I hated this book. Not really, just Lena. And that’s not a slight on the Author or the Narrators. The storyline is great as were the voice actors. I hated Lena’s character that much. SPOILERS AHEAD!! It’s been a year at this point. She’s still having panic attacks? She can’t fight, she’s useless. Her “oh my God, woah is me attitude” seriously made me want to throat punch her. There were so many WTF moments. I almost DNF’d many times. And Romeo has serious issues too. But he can do things at least. He’s contributing to the community.

The only thing I didn’t like was the book didn’t answer and questions for me. It was over. I don’t buy it.

This was my least favorite of the series.

really loved the series

Great series finale. Finally we have stone cold fox Romeo. We find out what has driven this good time guy to become an ice cold celibate after Z Hit. A girl he only knew for a couple days from his past turns out to be alive and reaches out to him for help. guilt and a sense of obligation send him to her aid.

Layla does not feel safe in this world, being an actress has left her illequipt for a zombie filled world (she isn't as bad a$$ as the other heroines in the series which was a bummer if you ask me, but it does make her different). There has been one man she knows could help her and potentially all the people stuck in a failing safe zone. when she meets him again she can tell he isn't the same guy he was before but she is still attracted to him and feels safe for the first time when he's near.

These I feel like it was very angsty for at least the first half of this book but things eventually get smexy. This book ties up the series nicely!
