Excellent story & narration - so much fun!

Oh this was so good and not what I was expecting! Jami Albright really sucked me into this story and I really loved the flow and ease of her writing and storytelling! This audiobook is narrated by Aiden Snow and Virginia Rose. Aiden Snow was the PERFECT Cash King... His deep, growly voice just enhanced this listening experience so much! Virginia Rose was wonderful as Tiger Lyons. When I saw the title, I wasn't sure if I was getting a high school or college romance, but this story follows Cash & Tiger years after they're crowned Homecoming king and queen.

Cash returns home while on short leave from his professional football team, to fix up the house he bought for his mom. To his surprise, he finds Tiger as the project manager on the renovation, and living in the pool house on the property! The shenanigans had me laughing and the whole situation with the billboard was hilarious. The chemistry between Cash & Tiger was so sweet, yet didn't take too long to get steamy! Lots of loveable secondary characters, a super fun & original story, and a delightful listen! I will definitely be checking out more of Jami Albright's books!

Homecoming King

Cash and Tiger were homecoming king and queen, but then she ran away from him and he started a rumor about her. Now he is back in town to tell his mom he bought the house she always liked. Tiger is finally breaking free or her parents and her ex, but she hates Cash so much. Not just for what he did in high school, but he also denied the grant to save the rec center. I really enjoyed this one. It had some really funny moments. I can’t wait to see what happens next in the series and hopefully get a Cash and Tiger update.

Awesome

Such a good one. The narration was top notch which really brought the characters to life and added depth to all the situations they got into. The story was charming and the character development felt real. I'm a sucker for cringe, funny moments and happily ever afters with a bit of spice. This book delivers. There are two sexy scenes if it's something that you want to know but it doesn't take over the book.
Loved it and I will definitely be reading it again.

In the mood for some sass and a lot of love!?!

Ahhhh there is nothing like true love…done Jami Albright style that is!!! Tiger is all sass and fortitude and like all of Jami’s heroines you want her to succeed! You want her to get her life together, get even with everyone who did her wrong, and stand up for herself! You will find yourself in her corner through the entire book….

Except….you will want Tiger to take second chances on Cash! You will feel for the town hero who has a tendency to stick his foot in his mouth…a lot!!! And you will buy into their chemistry, GOOD GRIEF their chemistry, Jami knows how to write it!!

This book is full of laughter, sweet moments, lots of swoons, and heart…all the things that makes Jami Albright a must read as always! Add fantastic narration by Virginia Rose and Aiden Swoon (I mean Snow!) and it was a perfect listen!!

Outstanding RomCom & Listen🎧 A Heartfelt Delight!

I loved everything about this book, from Jami Albright’s wonderful writing style to the fabulous characters and storylines she created to the perfectly casted narrators who brought it all to life from the pages to my ears. This book captured my attention right from the start and held it straight to the end, it is they type of book that you get so engrossed in that you hate to put it down. The two lead characters were awesome, some of the secondary characters are great too. Cash King and Tiger Lyons were Ryder High’s homecoming king and queen, Cash was the school’s star football player and Tiger was the beauty queen. Cash had always crushed on her but he knew she was way out of his league, beside she was dating Brad Watson. But the two connected that night until it didn’t, Cash thought she figured she was too good for him and to save face in front of his team he did the unthinkable and it crushed Tiger and she has hated him ever since. The book jumps to the future, Cash has made it big in pro-football but is benched because of a shoulder injury. Tiger had married Brad but is currently divorced, he is now the Mayor of Ryder. Tiger has left her beauty queen days behind and is currently working as the project manager for Lewis Construction overseeing a renovation the Wayland Estate, her former home. The new owner wanted the house gutted and updated. Tiger is also trying to save the towns recreation center, it needs a lot of work and funds to keep it afloat. She submitted an application to the Cash King foundation for financial help but was was denied. When Cash King comes to visit his Mom in Ryder he was surprised by the behavior of the people, they usually greeted him like a home town hero but now they look at him like he was the devil. He came back to show his Mom the house he bought for her, the house she always wondered what it was like to live in, Wayland Estate. He goes to check out the property he gets a huge surprise, Tiger, and their first encounter does not go off very well. I loved how everything played out in this fabulous, slow burn, enemies to lovers romance, the chemistry between Cash and Tiger is smoking hot, the dialogue and witty banter is hilarious at times, as are some of the shenanigans. The story is cleverly plotted with the perfect balance of drama, humor, heartfelt emotions and romance. Jame Albright, thank you for this awesome story, the laughs and the emotional rollercoaster ride!

🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Virginia Rose and Aiden Snow are talented narrators and versatile voice artists. They do an awesome job portraying these characters, humanizing them, giving each their own distinct voice and personality. I love how they take each role and make it their own sounding believable and just as I picture them to sound. Aiden Snow played Cash’s role with perfection, loved his swoon worthy Duke too. Virginia Rose played the perfect Tiger too. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they capture the characters emotions and project them into their performance. They set the perfect tone for the story, handle the witty dialogue with ease and land the humor flawlessly. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another awesome listen🎧

Tiger & Cash

Homecoming King by Jami Albright is fantastic! I loved how the author wrote about characters with great chemistry, that overcame high school embarrassment and misunderstanding. The imagery in the book is wonderful, and I found myself laughing out loud. Without giving away spoilers, I could envision so many details, especially at Cash's Mom's house and the community center. Both Virginia Rose and Aiden Snow brought the characters to life. I so loved Tiger and Cash, and his family and her crew. The author could not have written a more accurate description of small town going ons. I loved how the two main characters had grown since high school days.

Super Cute!

This book was super cute! It was fun and flirty also a tad slow burn I’m regards to them getting together!

It also wasn’t super steamy in the sexy times department BUT that did NOT detract from the story at all!

Tiger Lions and Cash King fit so well it’s impossible not to see them together, they have some stepping stones to walk and a new path to forge in his life first but they get there.

The narrators on this book are Virginia Rose and Aiden Snow. They are literally perfection in this book. They both display light southern accents that fit these characters personalities so perfectly but they don’t sound fake or over the top at all.

This was my first full book performed by Aiden and I can totally see why people enjoy his narrations. I will definitely seek out more

Second chances when you least expect them

When the football hero comes back to his home town to purchase the nicest house in town he gets more than he paid for.

Cash King grew up poor in Ryder Texas and managed to pull himself out of that poverty and bad name and become a famous quarterback for the Texas Thunder. He has it all, fame, money, and adoring fans. One too many injuries and a miss understanding can change it all and he has the beauty queen, Tiger Lyons to thank for part of it. She was the one when they were in high school and like the others she didn't think he was good enough for her and that pushed him to make something our of his football talent and he did but when he sees the beauty he is transported back and those feelings are all still there.

Tiger Lyons has always been admired for her beauty but not her brains and she finally has had enough. She takes her life back and is making her way on her own for once in her life. When the football hero shows up it throws her safe world into a tailspin.

This is such a good book about not only second chances but about digging deep and finding what really matters in life. It's not beauty and not fame but it will take both Cash and Tiger a little while to figure all that out.

Virginia Rose and Aiden Snow did a great job as Tiger and Cash. They brought their southern charm out and gave Tiger the sass needed and Cash that sexy southern drawl that will melt you. I loved listening to both of them.

If you are looking for a feel-good swoony romance with great characters, a good story and lots of fun this is it! Kudos to the author 👍
