GREAT STORY ~~ SUBPAR NARRATION!!!!!!!!!!

This is my 4th listen in the series. I've enjoyed all the stories AND the narration until this one. The story was equal to all the others but the narration was terrible. Carly Robins made many of the voices sound like small children rather than mature adults. I truly struggled to get through the book. Now I realize to my dismay, THE REST of the stories in the series are narrated by Carly Robins as well. I'm TERRIBLY disappointed. I'm going to take a break and come back another time to see if I can get through the next book. Brenda Novak is one of my favorite authors but she needs to have more input on who does her narrations in the future. As good as stories can be...they can die on the vine based on the narrator.

I love series!

This is a great read as a stand alone but when I found out it was a series I quickly got out Audible and sought out the other books. When reading a series you have time to learn about the people featured and make them friends.

Thoroughly enjoyable 

I truly enjoyed this story as sad as it is, but the writer did her research in regards to the story line. The narrator did a wonderful job.

good story but the quality of the recoding was not. sometimes the reader spoke to softly to hear what was being said.

At 16 Allie was gang raped by memhers of the football team who had just graduated and were celebrated their graduation. Addie left home after sye yjradiahyrf.

Absolutely loved this story! One of the best I've read in the Whiskey Creek series!

I love this series of Whiskey Creek.

I hope the author continues to expand on the series. I surely would like a story line expanded on Joe (Gale's brother), on Baxter and on Eve. It would also be nice to have more of the others already written about be part of the stories as their lives progress within each new book going forward. I love these down to real life stories that everyone can feel like you right there with all of them.

Good story

This was a good story and even though it is part of a series - it can be easily read as a stand-alone. It’s in the longer side but the action moves quickly. The friendships are very strong and the subject matter mature.

So happy to see this series expanding!!!

I was so excited to see that more of the novels are being added to Audible for this series!!! Can't wait for more.
