too short but meaningful.

the story is very short but it is succinct and it's definitely is an extension of the previous book The eagle tree. I was hoping to see the main character grow into a pre-adulhood that way we could have a better look of what is to become the character. however I was disappointed that it was such a short read but I love the book.
