Enjoyable Read

The story was well written with fully developed characters. I enjoyed the tension among the characters and their love story (opposites attract). I really enjoyed this story. The narration was very well done.

Impressive Book

If I had to describe the book, I could say suspenseful. The plot but the story kept me at the edge of my seat. The characters are great( really relatable and encouraged the reader to hope for their happy ending). The storyline made the book more realistic and it made the reader anticipate justice for the good guys.

Audiobook: This was my first listening to narrator Josh Cates. The narration and character voices weren’t bad. Josh’s pitch and tone use for each character were just enough to distinguish them from each other. However, there were times where he sounded a bit flat and monotone. Overall it was good.

Story: This was a cute couple story. The Noah is a social media butterfly and an Actor hoping to find that role that will make him a legitimate star. Logan is self employed running his own security business. A chance meeting at the local mall starts off “something” but each is not sure what. Add to that someone is pulling some public pranks on Noah which he decides he might need Logan’s security service if only to get closer to him. The attraction each has moves quickly even though Logan has reservations since he’s still hanging on to memories of a bad past relationship. Logan and Noah are both likable characters and the story reaches a satisfying ending. Nice and sweet.

All About Hollywood and Love!

I loved this story. Prickly and staid bodyguard and a fun-loving up and coming actor.

They thought "hook-up" but they both knew different and didn't tell the other. Add someone trying to ruin the actor and you have a good mystery. All is told at the end of the story.

A mystery and romance is my favorite kind of story!

A feel good read

Logan and Noah make you want to believe in love again. A little humor and mystery mixed in as well. A fun read!!!

Sweet love story with some mystery and suspense

This is an enjoyable, emotional story. Logan is a brash young actor; Noah is an uptight, closeted security guard. However, the chemistry between them is undeniable. This is a good story with great characters, a little bit of mystery, some betrayal, intrusive family dynamics, and trust issues. All these issues conspire to derail any chance for love between Logan and Noah. Will they fight for what they feel or just let it go? It was an enjoyable and realistic journey to watch the two fumble towards love.

I loved the narration. The different characters were given individual voices that made them easy to distinguish. The tone matched the character personalities of Logan (flirty) and Noah (serious, stoic) perfectly. Good pace and clear delivery, too.

Another winning combination for Styles and Oliver

A rising celebrity who may have a cyber-stalker, Noah needs help. Logan runs his own security company--and Noah wants the help that only Logan can provide. This story has likable, believable characters, and Josh Cates does a great job narrating. Well worth checking out.

If Hollywood is involved, it's drama, high emotions, secrets, twists, and misunderstandings. I liked that Logan cared enough to get to the truths of the matter, and Noah decided love was more important than the closet and secrets. Logan and Noah were great together and I enjoyed their journey. I didn't like the family busy bodies and interference. The narrator was okay, but nothing over the top. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this story and am giving an honest review.

Enjoyable and entertaining story, well developed characters and a good pace. This one has all the elements: little bit of mystery, some betrayal, misunderstandings, paparazzi, family busybodies, relationship reservations, some humor and two guys who finally figure out what's important.

This was my first book narrated by Josh Cates, I had no problem telling the characters apart and he did a good job with the intonations and emotions to bring the book to life. I will happily look for more from him going forward.

A WONDERFUL M/M HEARTBREAKER

Logan, a flighty, gay party boy actor, is thrown together with Noah, a closeted gay security firm owner, who has had his heart broken and won’t trust actors, by his sister and Noah’s brother, a heterosexual couple. Their path to love and understanding is fraught with smear campaigns and the fake world of Hollywood. They find their HEA after misunderstandings are put to bed in more ways than one.

The narration was great; especially the voice changes for the characters.
