It took me a while to get into it - I thought reader sounded too old for characters - well, except for the grandmother. But still worth the listen!

This is Book #2 of a Trilogy....
This is Book #2 of a trilogy and this should have been noted in the publisher's blurb.
Although the book's "What Happened to the Abducted Children?" premise was compelling, this book was all over the place with an eye-rolling ending.
Told from multiple POVs in different timelines, the book was dizzying.
Some characters were more developed than others.
Antonia Beamish's was stellar, but the book would have benefited from a full-cast narration.
This author has penned many 5-star books but this was not one of those books.
