this book had me on the roller coaster ups and downs in and outs tears last love it it gives me hope

The narrator was awesome

I had so many high hopes for the book. There were times I would rewind because I knew I missed a chapter or got distracted but no. Whole plots were missing and you just had to catch up. Over it was just okay.

Only 1 narrator

I loved the story line! This was the first book I've listened to with only one narrator, at first I didn't like it and thought it was a little hard to follow but overall it was great

Loved it

This story hit all the right notes. Love, loss, anger, frustration, lust and family drama. Caution, there is a lot of swearing but well placed in the framework of Marine life. Performance was outstanding, kept me rooting for heroine and hero. Would have liked a little more backstory on family but did not distract from overall story.

really enjoyed the listening. the narrator did a good job. the storyline I was kind of shocked but I eventually knew what was going. the author did a great job with the emotional side of the story

It was okay

I really tried to like this book. I like the concept but what I thought would happen and what actually happened was just boring and predictable. I did not like the skin fetish at all. Everytime they brought up Skylar's skin and her hair I was just uncomfortable. The plot wholes had me so confused. j keot thinking I was missing something. The biggest thing that I like was the friendship between the guys and Skylar. The narrator even though some parts felt like a child was talking for the male lead. She did pretty good. I will try another book by this author.

Smooth Plot, Engaging Narration Throughout

I enjoyed the story, and the narrator brought it to life. I also appreciated that when characters made questionable choices, those moments were resolved smoothly without being drawn out, keeping the story’s momentum just right.
