People Focused

l like that this book is people-focused. Yes, it is a book about leadership, but this book points out a very important thing. You can't be a leader if no one is following you. If you want people to follow you, as a leader you have to be regularly implementing and striving to be better in each of the areas the author talks about. I think this book could be very complimentary to Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence People.

Great book to grow in your leadership, no matter where you are in life. Very inspiring and practical.

Understanding People

Wow! This book has opened my mind to get a better a idea how to lead humans. It helped me understand that people at the end of the day are people and you have to treat them in a respectful way. You shouldn’t just be a boss with goals and expectations for your team you should boat that really understands their team and appreciates them in order get the most from them.
