About this listen

In Cancun, Mexico, police investigate a slaughter at a wedding ceremony. In Dublin, Ireland, the clientele of a backstreet pub are found dead. In Kyoto, Japan, the bullet train pulls into the station with blood-spattered windows.

It is the time of the Black Sun. Across the world, the wolves are calling to each other. Locked in bodies that had no idea they were there, they rise from the depths of the unconscious and turn towards America....

For Hellboy, it's a race against time to prevent a devastating wave of primal savagery washing across the land. And so he is drawn to Boston's Beacon Hill and the Grant Mansion, believed to be the most haunted house in New England, where the truth may lie buried.

If you like the comics or the Gillermo del Toro movies you will love this book. This story captures all that is Hellboy. Its interesting, funny and it will take you on a ride full of adventure and action.

A shaggy dog story

Another amazing addition to the Hellboy mythos, definitely worth listening to, make sure to listen to “The Fire Wolves” before if you can or read it that way some of the references makes sense. 5/5 amazing.

this hellboy book just so so

I like hellboy. not a fanbiy. but like the character. the movies and the other books. this story was more about the other human characters in the book with hellboy as a side character. the story also missed the mark capturing hellboys wit and humor. lastly the narrator was dry. felt like I was being read too by an accountant. professional, but dry and monotone.

could of been way better

honestly the book was boring and super whiney, it felt more a lifetime movie about ptsd, and daddy issues then the gritty fun hellboy stories
