Really good

I knew there was going to be a throuple in this book but I wasn’t sure what kind so it was a nice surprise when you find out! I read this book on the narrator’s suggestion and I wasn’t disappointed. I really hope the other books are narrated soon!

New favorite world! Roller coaster

A tidal wave of emotions. Was not expecting such a roller coaster of emotions, enjoyed this book so much, top book of 2023 for me. Hooked on the wytchling chronicles, C C Davies has developed such a rich world, each character being well developed loved and hated throughout the book. Was not expecting a throuple love element, and it was done soooo well <3

Laura Horowitz is a phenomenal narrator and sold me on this series. An amazing listen on long commutes. Her voice had me brought right into the story, and enjoying each character. Any book she does, is always added to my list. Her live streams on TikTok are a great insight & sneak peek on audiobooks to listen too.

Absolutely amazing

Great book all around. The world…the adventure…the love(hot)…all off the charts. So glad I stumbled onto this book. Now I can not wait for the rest of them to come out on audible! Like now, please…lol!

I think this is my new favorite book (no spoilers)

I am only just starting to get into the fantasy genre. This is officially my second fantasy book, and I think it is my new favorite book. The first… maybe 10 chapters were slower than I expected but I know why it is necessary for this story. Still, I wasn’t sure if I was going to continue, but I pushed through and once it all started, it didn’t stop; and neither did I. I listen while I’m driving on my commute to and from work, and I would spend all day at work thinking about what I heard on the way in, waiting for the time to pass so I could drive home and listen to more. Laura does an absolutely phenomenal job reading this story and giving life to each character, there were times I got emotional and almost started crying with the characters. Which is a testament to the writing and the delivery, props to both of you.
I cannot wait for the second and third and hopefully fourth books in the series!

Very Enjoyable

I have read other stories that accomplish similar things, but it was compelling and I enjoyed the characters. Will definitely listen to the next one when it comes out. The reader did an excellent job.

Loved it

One of my favorites this year. I felt so immersed. Such a beautiful love story and excellent adventure. On to book 2 now.

Surprising in the BEST Way

I stumbled upon this book, and my god, am I so grateful I did!!
This book is everything I live for. Fantasy world building, magic, action, steamy HOT scenes, bad a** women, absolutely perfect narration, captivating storyline, lovable characters. What a gem!!

Laura was the reason I bought this book. Great narration. The story is enjoyable and I really liked all the characters. Definitely worth the money. I'm excited to hear the next book in this saga. Enjoy

A queer answer to ACOTAR

Very well written and extremely well performed. I loved every character(except the bad guys obviously) and that’s rare for me. The fight scenes were very well written. The spicy parts were tasteful with no cringe. I look forward to the rest of the series.

This book was fantastic. Written so well, I cared about all the characters from the beginning. Magic system was easy to understand and the world is well built. Narration, as always from Laura H, was amazing. Can’t wait for book 2!
